Without Electricity and flowing water to a splendidly simple way of life. We run an organic farm with a cabin in the nearby mountains. You spent your stay alone in our beautiful log cabin in the mountains. You help us to keep the pasture free of weeds and look after the cattle. You can do laundry, charge your cell phone or take a shower on our farm at any time. At the beginning we will pay for a bulk purchase of food according to your wishes.

Détails du programme

We’re a family of 5 who run an organic farm with a cabin in the nearby mountains. You spent your stay in our beautiful log cabin in the mountains. Together with our cows and a lot of lovely nature and landscape around you. You are going to help us free the pasture from weed and are able to divide yourself the work times autonomous. If you love the mountains and nature, you’re here exactly right. A Digitaldetox succeeds effortlessly without a Wi-Fi connection. For that you will have enough space for a yoga-mat, an artsy hobby and there are no limits set for any sportive outdoor activities.

= important for all applicants=
You should be able to spend time alone because the cabin lays remote (around 30 minutes by foot downhill) and completely surrounded by pastures, woods and mountains. You can spend your stay alone or together as a team of two.

Activités et horaires

Your tasks are not very complicated and you can divide them freely. We’re expecting your assistance for 3 hours a day, weekends are free. Your main tasks will be the supervision of our animals around the cabin and to release the pasture from weeds. Especially, the thistles should be ripped out by hand with gloves and be brought outside the pastures. You will be working alone or as a team if you’re staying in our cabin together. Depending on how long you stay, the work may vary, and we may also need help on the farm in the valley. Please bring suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.
You should enjoy moving around and have no problem walking 30 minutes downhill and then uphill again to get back to civilization. Please also make sure you have a working SIM card for Germany. There is no wifi at the hut and we should still be able to stay in touch via Whatsapp/SMS.

Règles

You will be accommodated in our fantastic log cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms, a large dining area with wood stove and storage room. There is no electricity or running water and no WiFi. But you can of course come to our farm at any time and charge your cell phone, power bank, etc. and take a shower or do laundry. We also offer a shower bag at the hut. The hut is heated with wood and this is also how we cook. You will mostly prepare and eat your own meals, but there are of course also days when we work and eat together. At the beginning of your stay we will pay for a bulk purchase, for everything you need during your stay please pay yourself.
Please note our rules for the log cabin:
-no open fires inside or outside
-no smoking in the hut
-use the firewood sparingly
-the hut must be treated with care and kept in order
-no pets allowed (due to our own dog and the cattle)
