I got sick during our stay at Francisca, because of side effects of malaria prevention pills. I had to leave earlier than planned. Even so, they took such good care of me and were incredibly kind and welcoming the whole time. I really appreciated their warmth and hospitality, and despite not feeling my best, I still had a lovely experience staying with them.

Our stay at Francisca was sadly not as long as planned do to some hospital visits - not related to the stay - but we would have loved to stay longer. What we got to see was a super welcoming and loving mom, that always has time for a good conversations and a warm meal. I would recommend staying here if you want to experience Tanzania

I loved staying at Francesca's beautiful home and spending time with her family. She was welcoming, they made delicious meals and I had space to work and private accommodation. I was sad my visit was during the school holidays so I didn't get to volunteer at a school as I intended All the same I got to tour local places and immerse myself in local culture. I made a friend in her and hope to visit again

I could not recommend this experience enough. All aspects from mama Francisca's hospitality, the welcoming and friendly locals, the delicious food and the volunteering experience at the local public school was amazing!!! At the beginning, I was quite nervous about stepping in to the unknown. But soon after arriving I felt safe and comfortable with Francisca who now feels like my Tanzanian mom. I can confidently say this experience made me grow as a global citizen through having exposure to the African life and its history. There's so much more I could say so feel free to reach out :)

Francisca is a amazing woman and her family is wonderful. I had a really good time at the orphanage and school, the only thing was that it can be quite lonely at times bc you don't really meet a lot of people your age. The home is very nice with a private room and fan so it was very comfortable. You learn a lot about the local culture and traditions through franis family and friends so I am very grateful for her. Overall it was a lovely stay
