This was my first volunteer experience and it was amazing! Therese is an excellent host — patient, kind, and always makes you feel at home. Even if you don't have experience, she will happily teach you. Work hours are fair — some days are more physical, others are lighter. The place is close to Boca do Rio beach and there's a supermarket about 3km away, easy to reach by bike. It's a sustainable place, so they use minimal water and the internet is basic for online work. “Obrigada” to Hans for the Aikido classes — and we already miss the dogs! <3

The experience at the farm was really good. The accommodation was comfortable, the food was nice, and everything went as agreed. We learned a lot about plant cultivation and also took care of the dogs while the host was away. The place is peaceful, with beautiful beaches nearby, and the host provides bicycles, which is great for getting around and exploring the area. It was a good exchange, and I definitely recommend the experience.

This is one of the Best experience you can have on world packers. Theres was really great and alway provide good meals and great discussion ! Beautiful place.

I had a great time. The work was as agreed upon and the hostess was kind. I learned about sustainability and dogcare. The dogs are incredible and I connected with locals. The Quinta was right next to the beach which was also very nice. We had bikes provided for getting around and plenty of food. I would recommend :)! Thank you hostess Therese!
