Looking for help for a surf instructor with a camper van in Lima

J'ai passé un super moment à Lima avec Richard, c'est une personne bienveillante et dévouée qui fera tout pour que ton séjour se passe au mieux. Les tâches sont très simples, l'appartement est dans un quartier agréable malgré qu'il soit éloigné des attractions touristiques. Si te lever tôt ne te dérange pas et que tu aimes surfer, je ne peux que recommander l'expérience ! Encore merci à Richard pour ces moments partagés.

Ha sido mi primera experiencia y realmente fue enriquecedora. Richard es una gran persona. Es respetuoso y amable. Puedo decir que he encontrado un nuevo amigo. No solo aprendí sobre el surf, también aprendí a conocer otras maneras de pensar y de ver la vida. El voluntariado con Richard también me permitió conocer otros lugares de la ciudad, “conocer otras olas” y gente igual de increíble que él. Espero que la vida me permita volver a verte y compartir contigo, con Olita y con Kitten otras grandes aventuras. ¡Parcero! Mis mejores deseos para ti, querido Richard. Buenas olas.

No se si pueda encontrar las palabras para poder describir mi estadía con Richard… primero quiero agradecerle por todas las atenciones que tuvo conmigo, desde el principio se mostró como un amigo y al final de mi estadía puedo confirmar que SI se volvió mi amigo y una de las personas que más admiro, su autenticidad es verdadera y en todo momento lo demuestra, hacer mi voluntariado con el ha sido y será una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida, regreso a mi país con el corazón roto por mi partida, pero con muchos sueños cumplidos, nuevas experiencias y grandes aprendizajes.

¡Es una experiencia maravillosa para quienes quieren y les gusta surfear! Richard nos enseña muchísimos conceptos teóricos y luego prácticos en el mar. Hay momentos para hacer la parte de midias sociales, pero la mayor parte del tiempo se pasa cocinando y organizando la van y las actividades para los días siguientes. ¡Richard es muy atento y una gran persona! Fue genial pasar estas dos semanas con él. 🥹 Olita: ¡Qué dulce! 😍 Obrigadaaa cara, feliz em te conhecer!!!

Although my time with Rich was short it was very lovely and enjoyable. Rich is a super friendly and welcoming host who immediately makes you feel like family. I will never forget his kindness and generosity or this experience. Thank you for everything, I hope to see you again soon! <3

J'ai passé deux semaines avec Richard à partager sa vie et son charmant quartier. Richard est une personne adorable, bienveillante avec qui vous allez passer des bons moments. Si vous surfez les journées seront d'autant plus amusantes. Richard vous partagera son expérience et ses conseils. Le temps de travail est si petit il consiste principalement à l'installation le matin, préparer le petit déjeuner et le café, ce qui est plutôt amusant. Le temps peut paraître long parfois mais vous allez principalement vous reposer à la plage. Ce volontariat est parfait si vous surfez. See you Richard

I had such a lovely two weeks with Richard. The days can be long but the actual amount of work you do is very little and very simple. Plus, you can learn to surf! I got to go three times, could have done a fourth but I didn't feel like it. Richards kindness and generosity knows no bounds - whatever he has, he has to share. Until next time, my friend ✨

My experience with Richard was awesome! If you love surfing and spending time at the beach its the perfect experience. Tasks are clear, fun and enjoyable. You help setup the surf van when arriving and pack up, make coffee, breakfast and lunch out of the van. I would say the amount of hours expected is more than average on Worldpackers but most of the time you relax at the beach and surf anyways. Where you stay is out of the touristy areas of Lima, but the neighbourhood is safe, really beautiful and has shops. There are buses to Miraflores and a train to centro nearby too.

If you enjoy surfing or would like to learn it, this experience is for you :) Richard is a great host who will teach you everything you need to know! Your days will consist of hanging out at the beach in the „office“ which is very nice van and making breakfast & lunch, listening to great music and enjoying the waves. Olli (the dog) will always keep you company and you are free to explore Lima in the afternoon. I really appreciated having my own room and bathroom and I'm so grateful that I got to stay with Richard :)

I had an amazing time with Richard!! It never felt like 'work' at all. Days basically consisted out of loads of surfing and hanging out. I was free to go after making lunch on the beach but almost everytime I stayed around to chill and surf myself. Honestly, I had a great time and Richard is a great guy. Would defintely recommend!
