Calling all aspiring adventurers! Join our school's construction team in Nepal. Make a meaningful impact, and embrace a vibrant culture.

In order to provide safe classrooms, toilets, and housing, the construction team is always busy. The projects vary with the needs and growth of the school. For instance, after the massive earthquake of 2015 affecting Nepal, volunteers in construction built a hostel to accommodate the children.

Description: Volunteers pay $20 per day to cover the expense for their logistics at our school. The logistics include the following things: 1. Food (3 meals a day) 2. Bedroom (Dormitory style) It covers some other things as well: 1. Local Dinners 2. Tours The funds made by the volunteer is used to support/contribute to the activities carried out by an NGO at the school.

Furthermore, due to the rapid increase of children attending school, we need more and more facilities. Volunteers are guided by local experts, with who they will be able to learn about construction techniques as well as the different ways to use very limited resources.

By helping with construction for a school, the volunteers will be able to enjoy the company of the children during their free time and interact closely with skilled locals. Despite the construction work, volunteers learn and grow from their experience and the children from our school. They gain perspective through the differences in language, culture, and way of living.

Activités et horaires

We start our day with a morning circle following with performances done by the students, teachers, volunteers, and staff. You will have to help together with the construction team from 10 AM to 5 PM. We have a one hour break in between. We also reflect upon the day during the evening after dinner to plan for the next day and make it more effective.
