The hostel is a home away from home. The family oriented energy is contagious and everyone can feel it. I was able to get creative and learn a lot as a Yoga teacher and overall volunteer. My ideas were met with respect and so was my yoga practice by all the guests! Uriel is a very respectful and responsible host. I would definitely recommend this opportunity to not only Yoga teachers but volunteers in general.

My experience at the hostel was incredible. The hostel is amazing, surrounded by nature. The tasks don't feel like work at all, it is more about building community and connecting with people. Uriel, his family and the whole team are wonderful people, they truly make u feel at home. I want to mention the flexibility and organization of the volunteers system, everything works perfectly. I def recommend the hostel if u are you are looking for an opportunity that's allows you immerse yourself in the Philippines.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue maravillosa! Los horarios y tiempo libre son perfectos para conocer la isla, hacer las actividades recomendadas y poder descubrir en moto. Uriel, el host tiene todo bien organizado, muy buena comunicación para coordinar tiempos libres o para solucionar cosas del turno. El trabajo es muy fácil y entretenido, porque es compartir con los guest y estar a cargo del turno de la tarde, llevar a las personas que se quieran unir a las cenas familiares, animar la noche de quiz y de pub crawl. El desayuno estaba incluido y algunas cenas si estaba de turno. Lo recomiendo!

I had a wonderful experience volunteering as a yoga teacher for 3 weeks at the hostel. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and supportive from the very beginning, which made settling in easy and enjoyable. The facilities are great and the hostel is set in a beautiful jungle environment, creating a peaceful and inspiring space to live and teach yoga. The working hours were very fair and exactly as described, with plenty of free time to rest, explore, and enjoy the stunning surrounding area. I highly reccomend this experience to other yoga teachers!

My time at Cocofarm taught me so many valuable experiences. They truely welcomed me into the hostel and made me feel like family - Uriel, Efren, their family, the front desk staff, Steph, Nova, Mary, the housekeeping and kitchen staff. Such a beautiful community that always made an effort for the volunteers and guests to feel welcome and safe. The hostel was such a safe space for me to find my voice and confidence as a yoga teacher. Connecting with the local community, immersing myself in the Filipino culture was so unique and rewarding. I'm so grateful, thank you <3

My time at the hostel was truly a highlight of my trip. This is such a wonderful place to volunteer, the facility is so peaceful and you really feel connected to nature. It attracts really wonderful travelers because the hostel is very social but doesn't focus on partying. Uriel cares so much about the experience and wellbeing of the guests and his volunteers and offers so many great experiences. From the beginning I felt so welcomed. It is a family run hostel and you can feel the love and care that goes into the place. The shifts are fun and start in the evening so you can really enjoy the hostel!

My time at the hostel was an amazing experience and the best experience I could've asked for, for my first volenteering position. All the staff are so kind, welcoming and caring. It felt so homely and Uriel really supports you throughout your time there. I truly felt like part of the hostel family. The food was amazing, the volenteer dorm was really good, spacious and clean. Same goes for the bathrooms. The work was super easy as long as you know how to socialise, listen and lead groups. All-in-all it was an amazing experience and I would highly reccomend Volenteering here!

This was my first-ever volunteer experience, and honestly, the bar is now set sky high. Uriel and the entire team at the hostel created an environment that felt welcoming, purposeful, and full of heart. From day one, I felt supported and included. My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have been better! Uriel was an amazing host, always checking in despite his busy schedule. The staff, especially Stephanie and Nova made me feel at home. I met amazing travelers and built real friendships. The work was light, fun, and easy to follow through. It gave me time to explore the island. The bugs were on dine mode :) so bring repellent! Learned a lot about teamwork and social awareness. Thanks, the hostel and I highly recommend this place for volunteers you will have a wonderful time
