It is important that you have a genuine willingness to help, show drive and initiative, and carry a positive 'yes you can' attitude. We are dedicated to providing shelter, rehabilitation, food and care to dogs rescued from the streets.
Tasks include: showing the dogs love, brushing them, taking them for walks and helping with small chores around the shelter.

It is important that you have a genuine willingness to help, show drive and initiative, and carry a positive 'yes you can' attitude. If this sounds like you, I want you on the team!
The hostel facilities are located within an archaeological complex (andenerías) 9 km from the centre of the city of Cusco.

Your main duties will include: Spending time with the dogs and showing them love. Brushing them, bathing them and helping with small chores around the property. The distance from the house to the shelter is 20 minutes walking (1 km) and during this walk, water and food are left for abandoned street dogs. You will be working approximately 3 hours a day in the morning, the rest of the day is yours to spend how you choose.
All I ask from the Volunteers is punctuality, commitment, respect and responsibility.
All our pets are vaccinated, including ANTIRABIES vaccines.
As well as receiving breakfast and lunch each morning (even on your days off), you will also be staying in a beautiful 100 m² apartment with good natural lighting.
Equipped kitchen, laundry room with washing machine, Internet, Netflix, hot water 24 hours.
It has 3 comfortable rooms; the main room has a king bed (ideal for volunteers who come as a couple) private bathroom, another room with a double bed and a room with a single bed; which have a shared bathroom .
It has everything necessary for volunteers to be comfortable.
You can get to the city centre by bus for 1 Sol (1 dollar is approximately 3.80 soles).
The area is quiet and safe to get around.

Activités et horaires

You will work each morning 9am to 12pm (with 2 days off per week)

Your main duties will include:
- Spending time with the dogs and showing them love
-Brushing them
-Bathing them
- Helping with small chores around the property.
The dogs need a lot of love, since they live alone in the shelter and when there are people they are very happy.

No parties, alcohol, drugs allowed at home.
Keep the house clean and take care of all the rooms.
Spend quality time with the dogs.
