OUTDOORS: Chemical free gardening; maintenance vegetable gardens, planting, mulching, weeding, trimming mowing, edging, plant relocation, lawn & building repairs, debris disposal, painting, pool & building maintenance. No experience necessary, willing to learn.

INDOORS: Clean and maintenance of household and shed areas.

NOTE: Looking for initiative, energy & appreciation of nature including wildlife. Some early starts if hot weather conditions

Détails du programme

Volunteers can negotiate the tasks, the times and your enjoyment of this resort style property to suit your lifestyle requisites. All laundry supplies, kitchen spices & oils plus one daily meal supplied.

Transport to and from wildlife and tourist attractions, supermarkets and shops is provided, however there is a 55 kilometre trek to the city, so transport is offered with considerations to my work / life commitments.

Activités et horaires

Up to 20 hours per week (sometimes only 18 hours) with projects, work and recreation negotiable. On arrival, the tasks / projects are shown / explained. I just want the tasks managed by you, your preferred time of the day / week. So self managed, after communicated agreement so we are both on the same page.

If you want, I am happy to take you on some mini tours of the area, National parks, natural springs and safe swimming water holes / creeks. I am happy to arrange your transport back into town (45 - 50 mins drive) on a regular basis. Also for $15 Australian dollars the sailing club in town has opportunity for you to experience crewing a sailboat / yacht in their weekly sunset races.

Clean habits are an expectation.
When you use the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and other shared areas, it is expected that you clean & tidy after yourself.
Leave these areas as you would want to find them yourself.

Respect of persons and property is expected.
Fairness, honesty, integrity and respect are values that are to be embraced along with kindness and tolerance.

NOTE: This property supports a chemical free lifestyle as much as possible. So, it is preferred you avoid 'highly fragrant' personal products to be used in the home. ie. perfumes, cologne, body sprays etc...
I do supply essential oils, quality body wash, shampoo & conditioner also I supply certified organic bed sheets, shampoo, conditioners, hand and body moisturisers, laundry products and insect repellent.

Smoking or any illicit drugs are not acceptable here or anywhere on the property. Social drinking is your choice.
