Come be a part of our community in the picturesque West Cork area on the Beara Peninsula overlooking Bantry Bay! We have 90 acres of certified organic land that was abandoned in 1990, along with outbuildings and a few ruins.

Activités et horaires

I need help feeding and checking animals. I need help growing organic vegetables in my poly-tunnel, renovating the house and clearing land, Reseeding fields with organic grass seed, growing vegetables, I want to grow Aronia berry (Chokeberry plants), Blueberries and Hazelnuts. Help with designing and constructing a chicken-run, bee-keeping, fencing rebuilding old stone walls, and general improvement.

I keep Dexter cows which are a rare breed indigenous to Ireland, they have to be check everyday. If the weather is bad we do the tasks in the Polytunnel, else outside. Trips around the local area are organised weeky!

Règles

Accommodation is in a large Mobile home and meals are in the cottage. At the moment the Pollytunnel (60 feet (18.25m) long - 24 feet (7.3 m) wide) in be made ready for food production for the year.
