I never imagined how much this shelter would change me. I worked the shelter day caring for dogs of all profiles. It's hard to choose favorites, but Bambi, Bonnie and of course Goshko stole my heart. I'm deeply grateful to Terry and Yuliya for the support and kindness, even when I got injured. What they've created here is purpose, love and courage in action. This place isn't just about tasks, it's about truly connection. If you come, come with heart, presence and willingness to truly help. This shelter heals dogs and humans. I can't wait to return. Thanks so much for everything!!! 🤍

If you are a the shelter lover, this is the place to be. I even asked to extend my stay because I enjoyed volunteering so much🤩 You just have to take into account that public transport takes up a large part of the day. Also, this volunteering is a mix between take care of dogs and do cleaning tasks. I really want to come back there. Thank you Yuliya for everything.

I was at the shelter for about a month, and it was such an incredible experience, I've met such amazing people, such lovely dogs and felt so welcomed throughout my whole experience, there was not one day where I wasn't excited to go in to the shelter, I would have happily stayed for longer. On top of the work, Bulgaria is such a great country to explore, and with 3 days off per week, I felt more than able to do so. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend.

The shelter was a unique experience! i had so much fun! soooo many incredible dogs and amazing people to work with. the tasks were easy and rewarding :) i hope that this shelter will be more popular in the future since they have so many dogs perfect for adoption!

I had a great time at the the shelter. Yuliya and Terry were great hosts, always doing their best to help you with anything. I enjoyed the days spent at the dogs interacting with the 100+ dogs there. The staff at the shelter were also friendly and the tasks were straightforward and easy to follow. Some days can be a bit physically exhausting but it is all worth it at the end. I would highly recommend volunteering here if you love dogs!!

Amazing work that they are doing here. It was so great to be part of such a passionate team who love what they do and have so much appreciation for the animals. I would highly recommend this experience to any the shelter lovers who don't mind putting in the work to feel the benefits of giving back. Your heart will be full <3

I loved everything about my time there! The shelter is a beautiful place with the most lovely dogs and amazing staff! Yulia and Terry and all the others make you feel so welcome and wanted that it is so sad to say goodbye! I will be back and hopefully a lot of the dogs will have found their forever home 🤍 Thanks again for everything! And hope to see you again soon!

I loved my stay here. It felt very welcoming and cozy. The work in the the shelter is truly amazing and supported by lots of very nice staff members. All in all, this is the best the shelter you can support because it really cares about the needs of each and the shelter. You can tell they put their hearts into this project! I would love to come again :)

I had a fantastic time at the shelter, it was such a precious experience to me! The people who worked at the shelter were all amazing and so sweet, and Yuliya and Terry are wonderful people. My favourite thing was the care and attention given to the dogs at the shelter, the shelter one of them is special and you get to know and learn all about them, and you get to fall in love and connect with all of them. The work is not difficult and it's very fulfilling and the apartement is very comforting especially because of Goshko! I will miss this experience so much and i can't wait to be back!

I had a really great time at the shelter! Working with the dogs is such a lovely, uplifting experience. You can really see the care put into each the shelter, knowing their personalities and preferences, all to make sure they get the best care possible. The staff are very kind and welcoming and Terry and Yuliya are amazing, will do their best to help you solve any problem that may arise and make sure your stay is fun and enjoyable. The days are long but they are so fulfilling, they go by so fast and you don't even notice it. I miss everyone already! Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon <3
