This document outlines the official agreement between Unity Eco Village and the volunteers participating in our programs. By accepting the volunteer position at Unity Eco Village, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. We aim to create a respectful, collaborative, and productive environment for all participants.

Program Description:
Unity Eco Village Overview: Unity Eco Village is a community-driven project located in Chapakot, Nepal, dedicated to promoting sustainability, environmental conservation, organic farming, and eco-tourism. We strive to reduce plastic pollution, empower local communities, and create educational opportunities for volunteers from around the world.

Our core activities involve hands-on experience in environmental projects like waste management, plastic recycling, organic farming, and community empowerment. Volunteers play a key role in achieving these goals and contributing to the village’s ongoing development.

Program Objectives:
To engage volunteers in sustainability projects, including organic farming, plastic recycling, eco-tourism development, and health education.
To foster cultural exchange between volunteers and the local community.
To create an impact on the environment and local society by promoting sustainable practices and contributing to the long-term goals of the Unity Eco Village project.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Work approximately 5 hours per day, 5 days a week on various community and environmental tasks.

At Unity Eco Village, volunteers will engage in various activities aimed at promoting sustainability, supporting community development, and contributing to environmental conservation. The activities are designed to provide hands-on experience in eco-tourism, organic farming, waste management, and community-building initiatives. Volunteers will also have opportunities to immerse themselves in local culture while contributing to the village's sustainable development.

Volunteer Activities:
Organic Farming:

Description: Volunteers will assist with planting, maintaining, and harvesting organic crops. This includes tasks such as soil preparation, seed planting, weeding, irrigation, and harvesting vegetables and fruits.
Impact: Volunteers will help build a more sustainable local food system by promoting organic farming practices and reducing reliance on chemical fertilizers.
Plastic Recycling:

Description: Volunteers will work on plastic waste management and recycling initiatives. This includes sorting, cleaning, and processing plastics to be reused or repurposed for new products.
Impact: Volunteers will play a key role in reducing plastic pollution and promoting recycling practices, contributing to the preservation of the local environment.
Eco-Tourism Development:

To ensure a positive, respectful, and productive environment for all volunteers, Unity Eco Village has established the following guidelines and rules. By following these rules, volunteers will contribute to the success of the community and experience a fulfilling stay.

1. Respect for Local Culture and Traditions
Volunteers must respect the local customs, traditions, and cultural practices. This includes showing respect for local beliefs, values, and the surrounding environment.
Please be mindful of your language and behavior, particularly when interacting with community members.
2. Punctuality and Commitment
Volunteers are expected to be punctual for work and activities. Your contribution is essential to the success of the projects, so being timely and reliable is crucial.
Stay committed to your agreed schedule and tasks. Notify the team in advance if you need to take time off or if there are any issues affecting your participation.
3. Safety First
Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the Unity Eco Village staff, especially when working in outdoor environments or handling tools and equipment.
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately to the project coordinator or staff.
4. Work Ethic and Teamwork
Volunteers should work with a positive attitude and be willing to contribute in any area where help is needed. Flexibility is key, as tasks may change depending on the daily needs of the project.
