Ce que vous recevez

3 jours de congé par semaine

As a Wise-Up School Volunteer, your role goes beyond the ordinary - you get to share your unique skills and passions with children aged 2 and above. Whether it's language, arts, music, storytelling, or even swimming, your expertise will shape the experiences of the next generation.

Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Nigerian culture, mastering our language while sharing yours. A two-way cultural enrichment!

Also beyond the classroom, join our exciting excursions across Lagos and occasionally to other states. Explore the bustling markets, historical sites, and breathtaking landscapes.

At Wise-Up School, we believe in the perfect blend of work and play. Enjoy your teaching responsibilities while relishing the thrilling experiences of Lagos. Be ready for surprise visits to concerts, festivals, and events – a chance to unwind and experience the lively Nigerian entertainment scene.

Activités et horaires

At Wise-up School, our volunteers are picked up from the airport and driven to a comfortable quarters. You can take a day off to rest and begin work the next day. The apartment is a shared apartment with the host couple. Breakfast is served at home before the driver comes to pick you to the school. (usually between 7:30 -8:00am

At school, our volunteers join in welcoming parents and children to school in the morning. Depending on your skills, you may be assigned to work at the front desk or help with administration duties or you may be assign to teach a language, sports, music, dancing or any other unique skill you posses.

Volunteers are also free to choose which age group they want to teach. from 2 years - 12 years old.

The typical working hours per day is not more than 4 hours so most times you are done by midday. Thereafter you may choose to do whatever you like.

Règles

Medical report is necessary for us to be sure you don't have any medical condition that can affect your stay or other people around you.

Volunteers are expected to keep their rooms clean, wash the dishes after every meal.

Volunteers buy Lunch for themselves. Only breakfast and Dinner are provided by the host.

You are also expected to pay for your visa fee, personal effects and trips.
