I had a wonderful time volunteering at the guest house, and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a magical and unique volunteer experience. I am extremely grateful for the amazing group of volunteers I got to share this experience with🩵 The property itself is stunning, surrounded by nature, with enchanting accomodation and facilities. It always felt special to show guests the magic of what Yaz has created! The work is split up well between the volunteers, with hours respected. Volunteer accommodation is comfortable, all the staff are friendly, and Yaz and his family are so kind and welcoming!

My experience at the guest house was really special. The property is beautiful, super peaceful, and close enough to Oxford to explore the city often. But what truly made this experience meaningful for me were the people. I was incredibly lucky to share this time with an amazing group. The friendships, the support, and all the small everyday moments we shared are what I'll remember the most. The people on site were also wonderful which made everything even better! I'm very grateful for everything I experienced and learned during my time there. 🤍

I had a lovely time at the guest house. I am so incredibly grateful for the friends that I made and many beautiful conversations and laughs we had together ! The work is easily split up between all of the volunteers and I had fun experiencing the magic of Narnia in Oxford :)

I highly recommend the guest house for anyone seeking a unique and fulfilling volunteer experience. The people are warm and kind. Communication is easy. The volunteer accommodation is comfortable. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature but close enough to public transport that traveling into Oxford's city centre was never really hard. Above all, the work felt meaningful. Guests in the rentals come here for a magical escape, and it was really cool to be a part of making that happen. I think it's a very special place and I'm so grateful for the time I got to spend here. ❤️🌳✨

I loved my time at the guest house and would absolutely do it again. The property is even more beautiful than the photos, and with so many amenities it felt like I was a guest sometimes instead of a volunteer. The agreed-upon hours were always respected, and Yaz was communicative, flexible, and genuinely welcoming. The location is a bit of a walk from the city center, but there's a bus stop about 15 mins away walking with a 25ish-min ride into town. Also, Yaz often invited us to share meals, which I really enjoyed. Be sure to ask him to show you a few of his magic tricks while you're around!

I couldn't be more grateful for this experience Yaz and the team are amazing and make you feel welcome from day 1. The work is easy, the location is great because you can connect with nature, but the best part wasn't the work, or the house, or the facilities, but the people! Yaz and his family create a very friendly atmosphere, spending time with us and making us feel like part of the family. I also had a personal situation and they were very supportive and I felt very backed up. Joanna and Pauline are really fun and teach us with kindness.Thank you Yaz and the guest house team for this experience!<3

My stay at the guest house was a truly wonderful experience! Yaz and his family are incredibly generous and welcomed me with open arms. All the staff at the guest house were super friendly and always willing to help. The volunteer house was fantastic, we were provided with everything we needed and more! The work itself was very varied and engaging. Besides cleaning, we got to interact with the guests, make chocolate or cook jam. I learned so much during my time here, I even had the chance to help extract honey from their very own beehives! Above all, I made truly meaningful friendships here. Thank you! ✨💛

I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. It was my first volunteering experience, and I was lucky to stay long enough to learn so much and always feel at home. Yaz is one of the most intelligent, creative, and kind people I've ever met, and his family is no exception: Noémi, Maya, and Myriam were always friendly and caring. Pauline, Joanna, and Alex were my guardian angels. Each of them took a piece of my heart. I made friendships I hope will last a lifetime and unforgettable memories. Yaz, his family, and the whole team are so incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly treat you like family. The accommodation is wonderful; you'll share a spacious place with the most amazing volunteers from around the world. And to top it all off, this is such a lovely, charitable organization. They are the epitome of hospitality and solace. They provide refuge for those in need, support small businesses, and promote sustainability; and that's just to name a few. It's wonderful to have such nice accommodations, but it's invaluable to work with truly kind, caring people. I highly recommend.

Cory has been an absolutely incredible person to work with. The enthusiasm she brings to the team is infectious. She brings a sparkle to any room she enters. The guests absolutely loved when she gave them the tour of all the magic props and the estate. She truly elevated the experience for all our guests and I thank her wholeheartedly for everything she did while she was here. We will certainly miss her.
