Namaste! We are looking for volunteers to help us run free educenter for slum kids by managing social media, video making, photography, promotions, blog writing, content writing, and helping us making the project sustainable etc.

3-4 hours a day 5 days a week will be a perfect match and rest day they can enjoy the time in India.

We also work for women empowerment for the slum. Volunteers can also give us innovative ideas for sustainability

Description: Volunteers contribute 15€ per day to cover expenses for all-time food, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, regular weekly cultural activities, project coordination, and admin related costs.

Détails du programme

We're a special center identified in slums and urban dwellings where students get formal and non-formal education. We run courses of Maths, English, Hindi, Arts, Handicraft, community development, general knowledge, computer education, Robotx, etc and all free of cost for the children.

The centers run with the constant support of volunteers and are accessible to the whole community for the usage. We provide necessary funds for the children to get stationary and books through donation contributions.

We also ensure fun and well-being of our volunteers and with us you will be taking part in various activities like Yoga, bollywood dance, Heena, Traditional dress workshop, Hindi Language workshops etc all inclusive. We also ensure covering all time meals and accommodation all equipped with Air-condition, washing machine, Internet, Microwave, Induction Stove, etc.

Activités et horaires

Shifts are:

Monday: 10-12 PM and 2-4 PM (volunteers can do 2-3 if want to contribute 3 hours)
Tuesday: 10-12 PM and 2-4 PM (volunteers can do 2-3 if want to contribute 3 hours)
Wednesday: 10-12 PM and 2-4 PM (volunteers can do 2-3 if want to contribute 3 hours)
Thursday: 10-12 PM and 2-4 PM (volunteers can do 2-3 if want to contribute 3 hours)
Friday: 10-12 PM and 2-4 PM (volunteers can do 2-3 if want to contribute 3 hours)
Saturday: Off (if you wish to volunteer, most welcome)
Sunday: Off (if you wish to volunteer, most welcome)

NOTE: Sometimes the timings can be changed due to festivals or other reasons so kindly connect with us in case you want to know the fixed time schedule as per your plan

Règles

- As we are concerned for your safety and well-being, we would like to request you to be back at our accommodation before 10:00 PM at night.
- No alcohol in the accommodation and project
- India is different compared to the western world and you will be volunteering with the slum kids and beneficiaries living below poverty line so we request all our volunteers to be prepared for this project
