Fué mi primer voluntariado y no tengo ni palabras para expresar lo lindo y especial que fué, no pude haber elegido mejor lugar🥹 Desde el inicio me sentí cómoda, como en casa, y me recibieron con mucho cariño El ambiente fue tan cálido que realmente me sentí en familia e incluída Siempre se preocuparon de que no me faltara nada, de que estuviera bien. Las actividades son bien sencillas y nunca sentí las cosas como un trabajo, al contrario, lo disfruté mucho Definitivamente volvería, se quedan con una parte de mi corazón y me llevo una experiencia increible🤍 Me voy con el corazón lleno y feliz

Una hermosa experiencia, logré conectar con los habitantes de San Andrés, explorar la Antigua y pueblitos cercanos. Kevin y su familia siempre me apoyaron ante las dudas que me surgian, me dieron recomendaciones de lugares para visitar, fueron amables y respetuosos. Me sentí segura y en familia. Realicé actividades muy sencillas, aprendí sobre el café, los anturios y orquídeas, además fueron flexibles con los días de descanso que solicité. Recomiendo ampliamente.

I had a truly wonderful experience volunteering at this coffee farm. The family was incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous with their time and knowledge. From the first day, they made us feel like part of their home, sharing not only their work but also their culture and daily life. The work on the finca was rewarding and gave us a real insight into the process of coffee production. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and for the warmth and hospitality of this amazing family. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a meaningful and authentic experience!

La experiencia acá fue agradable, realmente el voluntariado suele ser en la tienda donde tienen un vivero, empacas tierra, abonos, haces live para promocionar flores, tranquilo, Allan súper lindo que es con quien más trabajas, Kevin que es el anfitrión también chévere, te llevan a conocer el pueblo, compartís, comes rico, todo bien, recomiendo, súper cerca de antigua, fácil transporte

¡Super recomendado! Trabajé más que todo en el vivero familiar (muy hermoso), el horario de trabajo y las horas compensatorios son justas. Kevin y su familia son super flexibles, te acogen como a uno más de su familia y son muy serviciales. El pueblo es muyyy seguro y lindo, todos son muy gentiles y es muy relajado. Tiene una buena ubicación, cerca de Antigua y pueblos vecinos que también son lindos. Me gustó muchooo 💖

The two weeks I spent with Kevin were amazing! He is such a nice, fun and accomoditating host. It was too early to collect the coffee beans so we did some gardening (which is so soothing) and we separated the bean from the shells from the coffee harvest of the previous year. We cooked together and made some hikes in the beautiful nature around. It's such a relaxing experience and Kevin really cares about making his volunteers feel at home. 100% recommend spending some time with him.

The work is very simple, it can be anything from helping at Kevin's home to garden work when there's no work at the coffee farm. The working hours varies, but can be discussed. The town itself is very small but charming, the bus ride to Antigua is around 20 min. The house is very primitive, but with great people around, Kevin and his family are one of the most generous people I've ever met! <3

I loved my stay with Kevin & his family! I felt so welcomed and comfortable (especially as a solo female traveller & being the only volunteer there at the time!😊) The work was enjoyable and easy, I stayed here outside of coffee season so my days involved plant watering, cleaning the floors & I also helped out a little at his sisters plant store! On my day off we went on a sunrise and waterfall hike which was amazing!! Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience Guatemalan culture & practice their Spanglish ;) ☺️☺️
