Si buscas un lugar para conectar con la naturaleza lo recomiendo definitivamente, con los voluntarios hicimos un grupo increíble, todos de diferentes nacionalidades colaborando con el proyecto y las tareas de hotel, se creó un ambiente de comunidad muy lindo, hay un río al lado para ir a refrescarse, y hay cascadas muy cerca. Lo disfruté muchísimo, Alex te da la libertad de que puedas aportar con tu arte y tus ideas, muy agradecida por los momentos compartidos y deseo que la Comarca siga creciendo y conectando a muchos viajeros más con la belleza de la costa pacífica de Costa Rica. Pura Vida

Although my time here was short, it was amazing and I loved every moment! Alex is such a warm and welcoming host, I felt like I was apart of a little family of volunteers from day 1. The property is beautiful and the river is amazing to cool off and swim in. It is a little far from the beach, but Alex helps the volunteers find days to go with the car. The tasks were fair and manageable everyday. I would really recommend this stay for anyone looking to just exist on some beautiful land with beautiful people!

Fue muy lindo sentirme como en casa después de varios meses de estar viajando. La buena onda y la atención de Alex y su familia son destacables y hacen la estadía muy agradable. Es un ambiente que permite generar vínculos con ellos y con otros voluntarios. Muchas gracias por estás 2 semanas compartidas!!

Contribuir y pasar tiempo en La Comarca ha sido una experiencia increíblemente positiva. Las tareas son fáciles de realizar, siempre hay alguna cosita por hacer, la cual Alexander siempre está dispuesto a enseñarte. Estar en contacto con la naturaleza es maravilloso pero para mi lo más valioso ha sido el intercambio humano, los vínculos y conexiones que se crean en poquitos días. Te sientes como en casa y sin duda la peor parte para mi, fue la despedida. ❤️❤️

I spent almost a month at La Comarca, and it was an amazing, cool, and enriching experience. 100% recommended for everyone! Alex is a fantastic host, and the property, dorms, and common areas are really beautiful. The work was more than fair and was a lot of fun with the other volunteers. There's plenty of time to explore the area and just enjoy life. Puuura Vida, Alex!!!

Wow. Truly one of my favorite experiences I've had while solo traveling. This was my first world packers experience and couldn't have asked for a better first one. Alex made me feel welcome right from the start and loved how he allowed everyone to get creative and start whatever kind of project they have in mind. It felt like a safe place to express myself creatively while having fun. The work ended up becoming pretty enjoyable and didn't feel trapped or like I wanted to leave. I would have totally stayed a few more days if I didn't already have travel plans. 10/10 recommend.

My stay at La Comarca was truly unique! I had an amazing time, learned a lot, met great people, and would come back anytime! The work was diverse yet relaxed. La Comarca is a paradise, and the nearby river is a perfect addition, offering a beautiful spot for swimming. Alex is a great guy, always in a good mood, and, in my opinion, an excellent host. I can highly recommend La Comarca in every way – I will miss my time there a lot!
