This place has set the bar very high in my opinion. The house and the owners are wonderful. The stay was great, and after three weeks it almost felt like home.

It was our first volunteering experience, and we couldn't imagine a better start. Rafa, who takes care of the villa, is a really nice and warm person. Even with the language barrier, he was kind and patient with us. Jobs weren't hard, gardening, sanding, and painting. We were happy to have a private room with a bathroom, and the kitchen area was equipped with everything you needed. Garden was a paradise. Cahuita was about 4km away, we recommend renting bicycles. I am grateful for this experience. Thank you very much.

Fue una gran experiencia! Es un lugar en el cual me recibieron muy bien desde el primer día.Gracias a rafa por el cariño y enseñanzas que deja y por la muy buena voluntad que tiene a los voluntariados. Feliz por apreciar la gran fauna y mascotas del lugar.

Me siento muy agradecida de la experiencia, he aprendido sobre cultura centro americana, en los trabajamos de manutención del lugar reforcé algunos conocimientos y aprendí otros, además del contante contacto con la naturaleza. Las reglas son justas y los horarios respetados. Rafa el encargado del voluntariado es amable, tiene buena voluntad para enseñar y volver a explicar si es necesario sobre las tareas a realizar, además de ser respetuoso y de compartir una buena conversación de tantas experiencias que tiene. Los gatitos y perritos del lugar alegran los días también

It was a nice experience at the finca. We worked exactly 3h/day -1day off- and the tasks were varied and tailored to the person. Rafa is the one who live in the finca and building it, he give us as well the work. he was very nice, showed us everything about garden, construction and support us with his organic food that grows in the garden. Jan was not there but he was very responsive, whenever there was a question. After work you can do what you want, the beach is close and the jungle behind the finca. There are also cute cats and dogs on the finca. We will defenetly recomment to work here

Fue mi primer voluntariado y lo he pasado muy bien. Me sentí cómodo y acompañado a pesar de ser el único voluntario. Tanto Ashley, como Rafa me han tratado con respeto y cordialidad. Y Jan a la distancia también atento a los detalles. Para mejorar me gustaría que los animales tengan más tiempo de paseo y rutinas. Son todas las mascotas muy dulces y dan mucho cariño.

I was with my boyfriend for 3 weeks at the finca. The place is BEAUTIFUL, surrounded by nature, it is really an immersion in the environment of Costa Rica. Janus, the host, was very clear and kind about the house rules and helped us with everything we needed. We loved spending time with Ashley, his girlfriend, who was always sweet and made sure we had everything for breakfast. Rafa, the volunteers' supervisor, was flexible with our working hours. We had a private room, with a comfortable bed. The work can be a little bit hard but it's very dynamic! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING ❤️

Re linda primer experiencia de voluntariado a través de Worldpackers! La verdad pase unas semanas increíbles! Conecte con algunos amigues de diferentes lugares y me divertí cada día que estuve en la Finca. Los animales son un amor!!! Los voy a extrañar. Ojalá pueda volver en un futuro!!! Gracias!! 💙🙏🏻💙

Jan is a great host I actually stayed an extra 2 weeks, love the property great accommodations. if you needed anything jan would accommodate you.. close to town close to beach you also have a bike to use as well .you only work 3 hour's a day the rest is your free time to do what you want. it's a very chilled atmosphere good vibes I would defcome back some day.. thank you jan..

La finca es un hogar increíble ubicado en un pueblito a lado de la jungla y muy cerca de la playa. El dueño es muy amable y te ayuda a visitar las cosas más bonitas que hay cerca de la finca! Experiencia maravillosa!!
