L'expérience

We are running a small guesthouse in Senja, right at the foot of the famous Segla mountain. Here travellers can either rent 1 of 3 bedrooms, or the whole house for themselves. When we are in Tromsø for work, we mostly need help keeping our house clean and tidy, preparing rooms and shovelling snow. You will stay in 1 of the 3 bedrooms, but might also be able to stay with us near Tromsø if you want to visit other places from time to time.

Détails du programme

We bought this old house on Senja some years ago because we love the view on the fjord and location in between Tromsø and the Lofoten. After living in it for the past years and running it as guesthouse whenever we had time, our current mission along our jobs is to renovate the house and garden, trying to turn it into an even nicer vacation place that our families and guests can enjoy.
However, because of our jobs we will need to take a break from Senja and be in Tromsø for some time, so we are searching for reliable helpers to help us take care of our house in the meantime, which mostly means to make sure it is always tidy and clean, to prepare rooms, and shovel snow.

We will be there from time to time and can also organise trips together whenever possible. We might also be able to lend equipment like snowshoes, skis, kayaks and fishing rods.

Activités et horaires

The work is usually 5h per day, shared between 2 helpers.
The rooms need to be prepared at 11:00, which usually takes 1-2 hours.
Additionally, there will be some small cleaning tasks and snow shovelling each morning and evening.
