Mais uma vez gostaria de agradecer pela oportunidade de voluntariar no hostel. A vibe dos voluntários foi muito boa, junto com a de toda equipe e principalmente do anfitrião. A minha experiência foi ótima, pude aproveitar muito o meu tempo livre e ainda curtir a boa onda que o hostel proporciona. O que eu digo para quem quer voluntariar no hostel é: Venha e se joga!!!

Volunteer in the hostel was awesome I meet people that become brothers and sisters for life. Working there was a pleasure because everyday something new happens to me l. This was my second experience in PuraVida as a volunteer, and this time was during the Carnival period, so high season. In the limpeza (housekeeping) work the hotness in the morning can be your enemy for the first days, but everything is well organized and the staff and Felipe are always comprehensive. Obviously, staying in PuraVida, you can enjoy the parties even better, meeting new people there, following the schedule of the hostel, which always has something fun for you. People who works with you are generally open minded and funny, so it's very easy to make a group! Recommended 😎😎

Escolher o hostel como local do meu primeiro voluntariado foi uma das melhores escolhas que eu poderia ter feito. Não consigo nem colocar em palavras o quão incrível foi essa experiência e acho que nem se conseguisse faria jus a tudo que esse hostel me fez passar e sentir. Fui pra ficar um período e acabei estendendo para o dobro do que planejava pois me apaixonei! Me apaixonei pelo Rio, pelo hostel, pelas pessoas, pelas praias, pelas festas e por tudo que o hostel me proporcionou. Com certeza volto como hospede e como voluntaria. Amo vocês staff! Obrigada e o hostel!!!

I really enjoyed My stay at the hostel. i thought the manager Felipe was an excellent host and super friendly, i appreciated him a lot. the hostel itself is pretty cool and is safe. There are always events on and the rest of the volunteer staff is lovely. i was there 6 weeks, which felt like a long time (especially being a shared dorm) so towards the end,my social battery was pretty drained.

First I want to start by saying thank you Felipe & the hostel!!! This truly felt like a dream and at times, the people and the vibes here are unmatched and it's going to be hard trying to find that again. Now, about the work I was part of the cleaning staff and all the work is do-able just know that some days you will be tired but you exactly work 25 hours a week - not a minute more & not a minute less. If you do work more just let Felipe know and it'll get fixed (that I really appreciate). Overall, my stay here was great and I will be back!!! Once again, thank you the hostel/Brasil. MUITO BOM!

Pasé 2 meses increíble, gracias a todo el equipo que hacen sus possible para crear un ambiente bacana entre los WP y clientes. Encontré muchas personas y vivi meses intenso, llena de fiestas, momentos de vida hermosos y creando amistades..Tmb el hostel tiene una ubi perfecta, cerca de las playas más lindas y cerca de los lugares más chevere para salir. trabajé en el bar y no me arrepiento, los horarios son perfectos para poder aprovechar del día y salir de fiesta. Tarek nos da mucha libertad para trabajar y eso me permitió sentír muy bien. Muito Obrigada y the hostel 🫶🏻

O hostel foi uma experiência muito massa! Infelizmente não consegui terminar 100% do tempo de voluntariado por lá, mas deu para perceber que trabalha lá gosta bastante e consegue aproveitar a cidade do Rio O único ponto difícil durante minha hospedagem foi a segurança no Rio, porém entendo que os anfitriões não tem culpa dos ocorridos

El staff y otros voluntarios siempre fueron muy amables, el ambiente en el hostel es agradable. A veces complica un poco el no tener una lavadora en el lugar pero hay lavanderías cerca. También en las cercanías hay una estación de metro y pasan buses, por lo que es fácil moverse en la ciudad. En mi caso no sentí tan justo el intercambio de trabajo por hospedaje, el desayuno no fue bueno y las tareas de limpieza eran intensas, incluso trabajando al sol en días calurosos; tal vez sí vale la pena para voluntariar en recepción, bar o desayuno.
