There is no words really to describe what we experienced in this village, this journey definitely changed a part of myself in a good way ! This is a place where you want to grow up and be educated, the villagers will always be in my heart and I'll never forget each one of them. Teaching the kids was just everyday a part of pleasure, I never really felt like working, the food was of course amazing and the activities were all the time different which made every day so special ! Thank you for your generosity, kindness and authenticity. the eco village you really warmed my heart ! ❤️

In two words: unforgettable and authentic. These three weeks were filled with emotions. The children, the teens, and the adults are all full of love and kindness. It was more than teaching, it was a soul-to-soul exchange, a sharing of culture, joy, and love. Thank you for everything, I will come back for sure. Staying at the eco village Village was a privilege! Getting to know the traditional values of the Tay people of Vietnam, eat their food, participate in their activities and to feel welcome every day, even with the language barrier, was extraordinary. The kids are lovely and fun, they make everything better. As a volunteer, you become part of the life there and An is a great host. I got a room for myself and it was a must as a social media, because of my equipment and it was super accommodating. The hours are not steady but that's not a problem, you'll feel so relaxed. We felt so welcomed here — the whole community is like a big family, and we truly felt part of it. We were teaching English to small classes of 4–6 kids, never more than 4 hours a day plus prep (which took us some time since we had no prior experience) The food was tasty and healthy, mostly what they grow themselves. There was always rice, pork, and cabbage and sometimes there would be alternatives. Since it was summer break we lived at the school with the kids — simple facilities (bed on the floor and shared bathroom) but a wonderful chance to be close to them.

My experience at the eco village Village was absolutely excellent! The community is incredibly warm and welcoming, and I felt at home from the very first day. The kids are sweet, fun, and full of energy – spending time with them was a joy. The food was delicious and healthy, and I really enjoyed sharing meals with everyone. The whole atmosphere is peaceful, authentic, and full of kindness. I truly loved everything about this place and feel so grateful for the time I spent here. Highly recommended!

I really loved staying here, An was so welcoming and the people the eco village are the kindest people we have come across on our travels. The people saw you as a part of their community which was really special. They also value the education of children and the whole village support eachother. I absolutely loved volunteering here! I would recommend it to anyone. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived because everyone is so kind and lovely. An is so helpful with any questions and helped us organise taxis too. All of the kids are lovely to teach and I quickly picked up the schedules of the lessons! Also I'm vegan and the kitchen always accommodated with extra tofu/ vegetables and the food was always delicious. If you're thinking about volunteering here, do it !! Thank you for everything An:))

I could only express what I have experienced and I know my review could never give justice to the what the real feeling and impact it had on me. This volunteer opportunity has instilled in me the core values of what an ideal community actually means. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed warmly and little did I know it was just the beginning of something I would treasure forever. I made friends with the kids at school, An, our favorite honey & tea guys, and actually everyone in the village. This experience has been one of the most unforgettable in the entirety of my 4-month southeast trip

It was a very immersive experience! I learned so much about Vietnamese culture, the food, the traditions, the breathtaking nature. The story of how the village was founded is truly admirable and inspiring. It was a wonderful month, lifestyle is something to be admired, and I immediately felt like part of their big family. The children are the most beautiful part, I already miss each of them so much. Thank you An, for giving me this opportunity❤️ If you want to experience something true you have to come here!
