You will be immersed into the project as part of our team (35 staff)
Suporting our teachers to provide our Education (+ 150 kids) programs daily. Or focus on our Entrepreneurship programs: recycling, sewing, craft center, and our farm (+4000 meals per month)
You can combine our projects during your time with us.
During the weekend, you can, explore our amazing area, go to the local church and to traditional events at the village (Organized by us)

Description: The fee include: - Pick up and drop off from Hoedspruit (Town or Airport) - Accommodation - 3 meals a day, 7 days a week - Supervision at all time - 1 Town trip per week - Access to all Nourish and Shik Shack Backpackers facilities - 1 Village Tour - 1 Nourish T-shirt - Financial support to Nourish NPO

Détails du programme

We engage with our communities through an Eco Village model with a variety of programming initiatives that fall under beneficiation, education, enterprise and tourism.
All our projects are integrated, holistic and sustainable: to grow a better tomorrow.

An Immersive Experience (volunteering) is based on your chosen field, and immersing yourself into the day to day operations and running of the programmes. You will spend your day working with the team, learning from them and having an amazing experience!

Our program are:

- Green Kidz (environmental education programme)
- Agro-Ecology training,
- Rise creches (Early Childhood Development)
- Eco Village (our recycling & outreach programs)
- Social Enterprise, where we support and grow small businesses through an incubator

Activités et horaires

Our programs run from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm.

You will be immersed into the project as one of the team members to engage in the planning and running of the programs. You can combined our projects during your time at our project or focusing on one (your choice)

Assisting with daily task
Supervising the activities with the children
Manufacturing products from our farm
Classroom assistance
Exploring new recipes with indigenous plants
Creating new concepts, products and design (Craft, sewing, recycling center)
Assisting with marketing, financial or operational support
Exploring new eco building process
Building new facilities with eco building technique
Creating content for the Green Kidz programs (after school program)
Helping the kids with theirs homework

The work is very hand-on, so expect to be busy but also a lot of fun!
