L'expérience

Looking for riders knowing allrady horses, wanting to improove their knowledges.
we need dynamic people rady to invest themself with the dayly routine of caring horses, that's means also the backstage of it : picking up poops and cleaning around
the first week is always tiring
I can give horse riding lessons or outside rides, but this is not work, and it will depend on your avalablelity and motivation
we are riding teacher and a Vet ostéo

Détails du programme

We start in between 7H30 and 8, to feed the horses , bring them to the day feild, then we clean the poops of the stables or night feild,
we prepare the water and foodand hay.
depending the day, you have a rest until lunch, then care about horses : Hay, water
I try to make you ride 2 times a week, lesson or outside, easier if you are alrady a rider and light weight, on the horse and on earth!
this wil be out of the dayly work
from 4 or 5pm we clean the day padocks and moove thé horses, all this can take 1h30.
if we have to treat or care a horse you are wellcome
allways many things to do everywhere around, cleaning the leather : bride ans saddles
dinner aroud 20h,earlier in winter.
you can have free times and late morning sleeping if you need, it's just organisation.
everything is tiring, physical and full of new informations the first week, better if you are fit, and alrady knowing horses
after a week you know the routine.
But thé routine is not always thé same, can moove a lot with animals, so you have to bé flex.

Activités et horaires

Eric my husband, is a veterinary and osteopathe, but often mooving in France
we have 9 horses and 5 ponys, on 7 hectars
a gîte for 9 persons and a mobil hôme with 3 bedrooms , wc, bathroom, kitchenette for breakfast, and garden around for 2 helpers.
heater in winter, but not like a hotel room !
we do not have any salaried employee, not enought work
with our Arabian horses, we prepare a 100km for this spring if everything is allright
the town center is 1km away from the farm and there is an hypermarket just before the town, for your personnel shopping
I had a bad horse riding falling this automn, and still not walking well, so we need people really wanting to help with the horses, discovering the "backstage" of a horse center,
we do not offer a free riding stay, but you can share our life with the horses, and it's a lot of poo ! (horse manure)

Règles

We need people really motivated and involded with us even when there is a probleme over hours,
and to ride more, you need a level before coming, so we can take you more often when we go to train the arabian race horses,
you have to clean well the mobil home before going and meanwhile you are in.
we cannot be with you all day long, or go and call you so you have to be independant, and come and look what's happen during the day, to participate, so you can learn thngs about horses
