Working at the bar in the hostel was a great experience! The place is absolutely stunning and the people who work there are almost exclusively locals from the coast. The volunteers were a lovely bunch too. Meeting them and getting to know them was the best part of the experience. The work itself is not difficult but it gets a bit repetitive to mainly wash glasses and clean tables for six hours a day. I would have liked to be more involved in making cocktails and learn a bit that way. The food was very good, the volunteer dorm was a bit too humid though. Still: highly recommended!

El hostel es lo maaaaas!!! El Ambiente es increíble, un equilibrio justo entre naturaleza y fiesta. El staff y los voluntarios con los que me tocó compartir son un amor. Las tareas son sencillas y respetan los horarios. La comida es deliciosa. Creo que es un privilegio poder decir que “viví” ahí un mes. Me llevo los mejores recuerdos y lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados💕🫶🏼

Decir que es una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido como voluntaria se queda corto. El lugar es precioso, pero la gente es más bonita aún. Desde el primer minuto el staff y el resto de voluntarios te hacen sentir parte de la familia y parchar se convierte en tu actividad diaria tanto durante, como fuera del turno de trabajo. Mil gracias por la vibra tan buena que transmiten y por hacer que las horas, los días y las semanas pasen volando. Son el mejor equipo que un hostal podría tener!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue genial. El staff te hace sentir bienvenido desde el primer día, y se preocupan de que tu estancia sea buena en todo momento. Tienes la oportunidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo y conectar con más voluntarios! El sitio es precioso, así como sus alrededores: puedes descansar, explorar y también salir de fiesta. Los trabajos que ofrecen son sencillos y divertidos. Si tienes la oportunidad, recomiendo muchisimo pasar un tiempo en el hostel!!!

Amo a mi equipo del hostel 💕 este es el lugar que cualquier voluntario de la app debe de experimentar. Es el mismísimo paraíso. Gracias a María y Juan por ser tan gentiles, a mis compañeros voluntarios por ser un sostén emocional y fiestero, y al staff que hizo que me sintiera cómodo y seguro desde el primer día.

O hostel é um lugar realmente maravilhoso, as pessoas são incríveis e com certeza amei passar um tempo por lá. Infelizmente torci meu tornozelo nos primeiros dias, o que me impediu de trabalhar direito, pois o trabalho no bar apesar de simples é bem puxado e tem que passar todo o tempo em pé, então eles foram super compreensíveis e atenciosos com a situação, mas por não fazer sentido pra mim tive que encerrar meu tempo mais cedo. As acomodações são bem rústicas e você deve estar preparada para ser picado por mosquitos o tempo todo e sentir muito calor, mas isso faz parte. Um lugar apaixonante.

The hostel felt like home away from home from the moment I got there. The staff and other volunteers were amazing, the food was delicious, I felt safe the entire time, and the discounts were super nice! I would recommend this experience to anyone! ❤️

The hostel is a very welcoming place. The team members are all kind and helpful locals from santa marta, medellin, etc. Everyone is happy to help you learn Spanish. If you are quite new to Spanish, you don't need to feel like you'll be left out of conversations or social opportunities. Also the food and the accom is great Thanks for the time here guys 💛

The Hostel is crazy cool, staff is lovely, perfect place if you like to party and meet new people. Its really well organised for the volunteers. 3 great meal a day, 30% discounts on everything and free nights in others hostels of the coast. The job at the bar is quite chill, nothing crazy to do and at the reception more dynamics but really cool, it gives the opportunies to speak and practice spanish every day with guests. And Paco your supervisor is the GOAT but really bad at ping pong. Safe Area and heaven place to stay for weeks. Definitly worth it !
