I had a great time at the guest house B&B! It's a very warm, family-like place where I could truly immerse myself in Palermitan culture, connect with Andrea's family, learn a lot of history with Matteo, and eat delicious food. The B&B is also in a great location, with easy access to the main parts of the city. I'd recommend knowing at least a little Italian to communicate better during the shifts.

Tuve un mes increíble como voluntaria en la casa en Palermo. Giuseppe y Carmela son maravillosos, Andrea es una excelente persona y cocinero, y toda su familia muy amable. Las tareas fueron sencillas y el ambiente familiar hizo que me sintiera como en casa. Recomiendo este voluntariado 100% por la calidez de las personas y la oportunidad de conocer Palermo de manera auténtica

I had a great time here. This is a great place to learn and experience Italian culture. I felt immediately like I was apart of the family. I loved spending time with everyone there. Everyone was so friendly. Andrea is a great host and I loved learning Italian history from Matteo. The work is really easy and the food is yummy. There is so much history in the city to learn about too.

Andrea fue un excelente host que me recibió bien y siempre con una sonrisa! Me encantó probar las pastas y lo que cocinó cada día. El trabajo es simple y fácil de aprender, algunas veces pareció más para los voluntarios que el personal del alojamiento, pero se pasa y se cumplen los horarios. Recomiendo saber italiano básico o estar aprendiendo (ya que el anfitrión es el único que habla otros idiomas) para que sea más fácil el trabajo. También dejar en claro días de trabajo y libres desde el comienzo, para no tener problema con el resto del personal. Gracias la casa :)

Andrea es un anfitrión muy amable, siempre compartió comidas deliciosas y me involucró mucho en la vida local. Recomiendo 100% aprender italiano para mejorar la experiencia. En cuanto la organización del trabajo podría mejorar un poco, Guisepe y Carmela son muy divertidos, no obstante con algunas tareas al inicio no estaban del todo claras, y eso hizo que en momentos me sintiera un poco incómoda, no obstante recomiendo revisar desde el inicio horarios, responsabilidades y límites para que la experiencia sea mejor para ambas partes. Grazie per tutto

I loved this volunteering so much that I had to come back a second time! Sicily is incredible, especially in the summer is such a beautiful place. The tasks are super chill and easy, and the food is always delicious. The people there are really kind and make you feel at home. Andrea is super funny and friendly, always making everyone laugh. Giuseppe and Carmela are amazing and so sweet and hardworking, always ready to help. I had such a great time and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and easygoing experience! :)

So far so good! It's a very fun place to volunteer. Activities take place in the mornings, so you have the rest of the day free to explore Palermo. The BnB is in a central location, which makes it easy to get anywhere. Andrea is a great and fun host. Just like Giuseppe and Carmela — everyone makes you feel welcome and part of the place. It's important to know a bit of Italian to enjoy the experience more fully.

La experiencia en Palermo fue increíble. Andrea es un gran anfitrión, divertido, amable y servicial. El trabajo con Camella y Giuseppe fue muy tranquilo y divertido. Recomiendo estudiar un mínimo de italiano para pasarla super. Sin duda es una experiencia que me llevo en el corazón y no solo que volvería, sino que la recomiendo 100%.

Mi experiencia fue fantástica. Desde el primer día Giuseppe y Carmela fueron familia para mi, me sentí muy acogida y se preocuparon por si estaba bien y comía bien. También Andrea me incluyó como otra más. Las tareas consisten en ayudar en el desayuno y limpiar las habitaciones y baños. Se respetan las horas. La habitación es perfecta, bien equipada y baño privado. La ubicación también es muy buena, esta cerca del paseo marítimo, de la estación y del centro. Palermo es una ciduad que llevaré en mi corazón para siempre, junto con las personas que me han acompañado. Grazie mille!
