It was a good experience and my first volunteer job! Work was super easy!! About 2-3 hours a day and you get 2 days off a week! Even on a super busy day it wasn't too much work! The location is in the middle of Seoul and suwon! So you can choose what city to go too when you are off! Theres also a good workspace! Staff was friendly and would cook Korean food for us!

El team del camping fue súper bueno. El trabajo no es pesado y tienes mucho tiempo para explorar Seúl o la localidad cercana. La ciudad está como a 1.5 horas. El alojamiento es muy cómodo y las instalaciones están muy lindas. Me la pasé muy bien durante mi estancia y los otros voluntarios hicieron que la estancia se sintiera más amena :)

I was super lucky to meet a group I clicked with right away, we worked together when needed, helped each other out, ate and went out together. Honestly, the vibe made the whole experience amazing. We arrived just when the volunteer program changed, so conditions got way better: now it's only 2–3 hours a day, usually starting at 10 am. Plus, you get two days off. The job is easy (cleaning tents), food is provided, and the accommodation is nicer and more comfortable. Perfect if you want a chill place to relax, do some remote work, or hike; Seoul is about 1.5h away by public transport.

Mi experiencia en From Bali ha sido verdaderamente maravillosa. He tenido la fortuna de conocer personas extraordinarias que hoy considero mi familia. El staff se destaca por su calidez y su disposición para apoyar en cada necesidad. Las tareas son flexibles y agradables, la comida es excelente y el lugar es hermoso. Agradezco profundamente al jefe por su atención constante y por permitirnos sentir que este espacio también es nuestro hogar. Su compromiso diario crea un ambiente de confianza y respeto que valoro, convirtiendo cada jornada en algo gratificante. Gracias por todo.

Segunda vez en From Bali. Segunda gran experiencia. El equipo, aunque se renovó, me hizo sentir en casa. Fue un gusto volver a ver caras conocidas e interactuar con los nuevos integrantes del equipo en el camping. Me llevo nuevamente muy lindos recuerdos del camping, del equipo y de Corea en general.

The camping team is really respectful, fun, and great to be around. During my first weeks I was the only volunteer there, and the hosts did everything they could to include me and make me feel welcome. John, Yumin, Tae Hun, and Jiwon are amazing people, and I loved getting to know them. They helped me so much, and I'm really grateful for that.

Thank you to everyone at From Bali for making our time in Seoul so special. We were treated with so much respect and affection. We had a very comfortable double room. The chefs took us on unique gastronomic experiences and tours. We had a great time with Art, Ooy, Jhon, BonJov, and the most beloved mascot, Tepum. We will miss you so much. We love being able to share a little of our journey with you

It's hard work but if you've worked in restaurants before, it's easy. I thank jhon, ooy and art who were the ones who made us feel at home, also the bosses are very attentive, the place is far from Seoul, it is fun to meet other travelers and the work is very good when you get used to it, They were very flexible and friendly,

From Bali was more than a volunteer experience — it was about people who treat you like family. The hosts and staff - including the mascot dog, Taepung, are kind, funny, and deeply caring. They shared meals, stories, and everyday moments that made me feel seen and valued. Even with the language barrier, their warmth spoke louder than words. Some days I worked hard but also I was guided with patience and respect. We laughed together, rested together, and built trust. If you're open-hearted and willing to connect, this place will stay with you. I'll carry them in my heart — and I will return.
