My time was the hostel was very special. The staff are incredible and always made me feel welcome. I worked the hostel shifts and the duties are very simple (exactly as explained). I actually began to love these shifts because it was such a fun way to meet guests/locals and the bartenders are so fun. Brugge is the cutest little town, however, I probably wouldn't stay more than 3 weeks as there is not too much to do. The communication with the managers is very minimal but whenever I need something, they helped. The volunteer apartment is nice and upkept well. Thank you for everything the hostel!!

This was my first volunteer experience, and I couldn't have chosen better. The conditions were great, the place where you're hosted, the breakfast, and the atmosphere were excellent. The staff was always available to help, but we don't interact with them much. I met many people from Latin America and a few other places, and they were the best partners ❤️. There are only two things that could be improved: Communication and organization; there was almost no contact with the coordinators and there's a bit of an imbalance between the breakfast and the hostel shift.

Mi experiencia fue muy buena, es un lugar donde puedes compartir con otros voluntariados y disfrutar de la cultura local. Brujas es pequeño, pero puedes recorrer sus alrededores con facilidad. Fui parte del turno del desayuno, las tareas son fáciles y te las enseñan los voluntarios que están desde antes. La calendarización de los turnos la entregan semanalmente los domingos por la tarde/noche, si quieres viajar a otros lugares es un poco difícil planificar con tiempo (y economizar), sin embargo, también puedes consultar posibles modificaciones según disponibilidad. Mi experiencia en el the hostel fue maravillosa! El staff del hostel son súper amables y muy buenos anfitriones. Las tareas para realizar eran sencillas y con instrucciones claras. El poder pasar tiempo libre en Brujas es espectacular para conocer la hermosa ciudad y además tienes la posibilidad de conocer otros lugares en Bélgica y países cercanos. Lo recomiendo 100% Gracias!

I had a great time in the hostel, tasks are really easy, the staff is friendly and the place you get to live is nice. Bruges is a must to visit in Europe, is a really nice ad walkable town and local people is really approachable.

I had an amazing time in Brugge! the hostel was the perfect place to stay — the staff were absolutely wonderful, always kind and helpful. I made so many new friends, drank way too much Belgian beer (no regrets!), and explored this beautiful city that will forever have a special place in my memory. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

La experiencia fue genial... Brujas es una ciudad preciosa, y el hostal y el hostel son un lugar genial. Tuve que trabajar en el hostel, y las tareas no fueron muy difíciles. Hay un dormitorio y una cocina solo para los voluntarios, lo que permite un grupo más unido y la oportunidad de conocer gente de diferentes partes del mundo. Recomiendo muchísimo esta experiencia.

Working at the hostel was my first time volunteering and I really enjoyed it. The working hours and days off were always respected and it was also very easy to switch a shift with another volunteer if needed. I met so many nice people who turned into great friends, including the volunteers and some of the staff members and if I ever have the time I would totally come back as volunteer or as guest!

Durante mis 3 semanas de voluntariado estuve en el turno de desayuno (7 a 11 am). Las tareas están bien organizadas, el staff es simpático y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. El desayuno es bueno (continental) y hay descuentos en hospedaje, comida y bebida (gracias Mateo / Steve). Después del turno, tienes toda la tarde libre para explorar alrededor y las ciudades cercanas. Cada semana dan 50€ para comprar comida entre voluntarios. Conocí personas increíbles que se volvieron muy buenos amigos.

Experiência muito bacana!! O trabalho é tranquilo, a comida é muito boa, o staff é super gente boa e a cidade parece que saiu de um conto de fadas. Recomendo demais!
