I would like to deeply thank you for the volunteer experience at the World Peace Café. I am grateful to every person I met, from the first contact to the last day of work and stay. Beyond helping me practice English in an environment of peace and positive energy, you welcomed me with such patience that today I feel much more confident to practice my English. From the very first minute, they make you feel welcome; they're incredibly kind and genuinely care about your well-being. The other volunteers are wonderful people who help you understand your responsibilities. The work is straightforward, and the facilities are amazing. I would definitely return.

I loved my time at the centre, especially when I got to work in the World Peace Cafe. The leads at the cafe, Sean and Jason were so patient and trained all the volunteers. Amanda and Sian were very communicative and made work schedules and accommodations super easy and flexible, and were always understanding. Everyone you meet is so genuine and kind. The regulars of the centre and cafe are so friendly and nice to get to know during your time. The grounds are beautiful and great for walks. The key to having a good experience is remaining open minded and compassionate.

It's was great time! There people always kind for me! And the work is not too hard! This center is so peaceful and I could see many nature there! I really like that center! If I have a more time, I will go back again:)

My first volunteering experience couldn't have been better!! I loved every single moment ، the managers were super kind . The place itself was amazing, surrounded by nature, and the work was easy and enjoyable . They were always happy to teach me new things, and I even got the chance to try meditation for the first time. The people there honestly felt like family. The volunteers during my stay were incredible, and I made friendships that I know will last a long time. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to volunteer, enjoy nature, and meet wonderful new people!

This was an incredible experience. The whole team is highly experienced in having volunteers of all nationalities and for all durations. The managers were incredibly patient at teaching me the different parts of each job, and showed that same patience for every volunteer that came through the center. They are flexible and take last-minute changes in stride. I've made some friendships that I hope will last a lifetime, and had great opportunities to practice meditation while here. This was an incredibly valuable experience, and I hope my life permits me to return one day!

My short stay at the Centre was a wonderful experience. Every single person there, from Sian, Amanda, the managers like Jason to all the rest of the volunteers were extremely kind, welcoming and respectful all the time. The working hours were respected every day as well as the free days. The building itself and the surrounding areas look like they are part of a fairytale. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking forward to develop new skills, meet kind souls and learn more about Buddhism and meditation. I will be forever grateful and treasure all of the memories I made.

I've had an incredible time at the project Kadampa! Everybody was very welcoming and kind and I was able to meet a lot of fellow volunteers who quickly became real friends. The hours were always respected and the work was very varied. I worked a lot in the kitchen which was a great experience and I learned a lot. The grounds are amazing and very relaxing. There is not a lot to do in the surrounding area, but there are some villages in walking distance with a shop and pub which are nice to visit on your days off. I would highly recommend volunteering here :)

Looking back on my time at the meditation centre, it all feels like a dream that passed in the blink of an eye. I still remember the drive there—the golden wheat fields lining the road, the tall trees stretching towards the sky—it felt as if I were escaping the real world and entering a hidden paradise. And in many ways, it truly was a utopia nestled among the golden fields. Here, I experienced the calm of the English countryside and encountered so much kindness and warmth from the people around me. I think I'll always remember the peaceful afternoons, and the smiling faces of my friends.
