This is a rehabilitation center and familiar shelter for dogs ubicated in Valencia, Spain (40km away from Valencia center). We consider ourselves a proyect with a natural and equilibrated aproach towars dog education and rehabilitation. We Also give dogs in adoption in colaboration with dog organizations and asociations.

Peinture & Décoration: Aider à peindre ou décorer les installations de la propriété.

Jardinage: Aider à faire pousser des plantes et cultiver des jardins

Construction & Réparation: Aider à diverses réparations ou constructions.

Ce que vous recevez

2 jours de congé par semaine

Chambre privée: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre privée. En d'autres termes, une chambre rien que pour vous.

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Tente: Vous dormirez dans une tente sur un site de camping.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Dîner: Vous avez droit à un dîner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Laverie Gratuite: Vous pouvez utiliser notre buanderie librement.

Randonnées gratuites: Nous vous emmènerons en excursions et randonnées autour de la ville. Gratuitement !

Soirées gratuites: Entrée gratuite aux meilleures soirées de la ville.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Détails du programme

We look forward for people who is independent in the use of the free time, since we have a lot of work and a pack with dogs that have behaviour problems that needs atention everyday. These dogs are separated from guests, so no accident happens with the volunteers and other people, but can be with the whole pack out of the workaway hours. Since i am the only person who can be with all the dogs alltogether i can personally not be attending as much i would like to the volunteers.

Good news is that there is a house completly dedicated to the workawayers and other human visits, including family, guests and myself (when i have the chance to leave the dogs with a partner of the proyect). This house is completely free of dogs and separated from the center (But right next to it) and has beautiful views sorrounded by nature.

Activités et horaires

The working shedule (4h) would be 3 hours in the morning working with Tasks around hand work such as fencing, gardening, building and general maintenance, always in company with the safe pack of dogs wich can be around 20 dogs. My lunch time is at 12, wich sometimes a week we could share in the center all together while staying with the dogs, but other times as said before would happen independently from the pack, in the house of the volunteers.

In the afternoon around 4 to 5 pm there is the last hour of work wich can be related to dogs, bathing them, brushing, making cures or also garden, permaculture, cleaning etc. Anyway we are completly flexible according to the type of person that its coming but all this is so you can have an idea. After this hour we can stay chatting and enjoying the dogs some time until 6/7. (We have dinner at 6 and in bed at 9).

Règles

We prefer that the center stays drug free and need people that are responsible and conscious of boundaries and the importance of a calm and firm energy towards dogs. A pack of dogs is not the same as a single dog or some dogs and its not good to be too euphoric or intense because it can bring serious problems.

We also need people to clean up after themselves in the house in which they are invited since we are really saturated with the level of work that the dogs and the project already demand on a constant basis.

In order to accept anyone its essential that i can talk with the person trough whatsapp, so if you are expecting to be accepted directly trough workaway its not gonna happen. I need to be sure of the person energy and attitude and be able to chat and get to know the persons a little bit before talking about coming.
