Volunteering at the project has been an incredible experience. It's a welcoming, supportive space that brings people together and inspires you to try new things. I discovered a passion for cooking, taught English, learned some words in new languages & shared such a fun dance/musical moments. I'm deeply grateful for the connections, the learning, and the kindness I found here. A truly heart-filling project, something that I could really recommend!

From the beginning I felt a strong connection at the center and with those who were involved. Some moments were calm, others more hectic, but the comradeship and warmth from everyone were felt throughout. We were all working together, to support one another, and to help each other. The connection didn't stop at the center, it continued in the volunteer apartment and during our trips in our time off. The apartment is spacious and homey, and our trips ranged from day trips nearby with the car to a two-day trip to Corfu. It was an unforgettable experience, and I encourage everyone to try it.

Infelizmente adquiri COVID após 1 semana de experiência e para minha plena recuperação tive que sair muito prematuramente do Projeto, mas cada minuto que passei lá foi muito recompensador. A rotina é intensa e exige boa vontade e verdadeira doação, porque o centro é grande e o projeto realmente precisa de todo apoio possível porque é incrível! Você está sempre variando de atividades; tem muitas oportunidades de interagir diretamente com os refugiados de forma positiva e construtiva; os coordenadores são adoráveis, super atenciosos e abertos à escuta; a cidade é incrível, bem como o entorno!
