Life changing experience, I could just talk to you about about how good are the amenities, working hours, the delicious pancakes from breakfast, that location wise is in the heart of Edinburgh, but nah, ima talk about the people, I had the pleasure to be welcomed by an incredible team, starting by the GOAT 🐐 itself Ryan, since the first day he has been very welcoming, fun, professional, Celtics fan but most importantly a brother, also shoutout to the breakfast staff Ashma, Chloe, and Levant, same to Alex and her dog Bam 💥, I came as a volunteer and ended up leaving with a family ❤️

I had such a great time here, I would definately recommend it to anyone! The city is beautiful and there is lots to see and do. The hostel is in the best location, super central and close to basically everything you could want- hiking spots, nice pubs and venues, museums etc . The staff were welcoming and the work was easy. Your time is definately respected as you only work 3 days a week. I also had a great time with the other volunteers, so thanks everyone. Hopefully ill get the chance to return someday!! Literally one of the best volunteering opportunities I've ever had; the Hostel team is incredible, super patient, friendly and always welcoming; the volunteers room is very comfortable, and the free breakfast super convenient; definetly one of the best places in UK. Already miss them

My experience was good! The hostel is very big, so it doesn't feel like a backpacker vibe, but it's still a really good place to stay. The location is perfect, the shifts are very chill, we only worked three days per week. And we had breakfast every day, sometimes dinner, and a pool table available for free. I recommend it.

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience from start to finish. This is the greatest volunteer opportunity in Edinburgh with the most flexibility and balance. I absolutely plan to return. Thank you!

It's my second experience here and I simply love this city! The location is perfect, we have breakfast buffet and plenty of free time. It's super flexible and the tasks are easy. There are so many thinks to do in the city and this volunteering is the perfect balance between traveling, experiencing cultural exchange, improving/ learning a language and making friends. Ryan (manager) is so friendly and kind, and so is the rest of the team 🤍

The hostel is the peak volunteer experience! So much free time provided that it gives you a lot of freedom to shape your own visit in beautiful Edinburgh. Tasks and hours are a good amount. Location is extremely central and easily accessible. Dorm is very cozy. The staff are helpful and open-minded. I was also lucky to be in a great group of volunteers that had a lot of fun together, looking out for each other and doing activities outside of work. I absolutely loved my stay and this experience taught me so much. Would be so happy to come back in the future!

The hostel is in a great spot in the center of Edinburgh, surrounded by many beautiful places, and the city is full of amazing views. Ryan is super nice and kind, he is always trying to make the place run smooth and caring about the volunteers. The tasks are quite easy, the intensity depends on the amount of guests in the hostel. I had around 4 days free day which is enough to rest and know Edinburgh. Also there's some breakfast and discounts on the food of the bar. The only downside is there not much space for yourself, I sorted that out going to Edinburgh's beautiful parks. Thank you!

I feel really lucky and grateful to have been in the hostel as they provided everything as promised. We were provided with free breakfast, free laundry, and a clean space to be in. The shifts felt fair and our time was respected, and the people I've worked with have been nothing short of kind, understanding, and helpful. This experience, especially during the Fringe, made me fall in love with Edinburgh. I'll definitely have to come back <3
