La experiencia en hostal life estuvo muy tranquila, el trabajo realmente es muy sencillo de realizar, Chris el dueño es una persona tranquila y amable, el hostal queda en toda la zona colonial así que estarás cerca de todo, aunque la playa más cerca queda a 30 minutos.

Staying at the hostel Hotel was such a nice experience! The team was super friendly, the group vibes were great and I met some really lovely people. The atmosphere is relaxed and positive, which made everything even better. Definitely a place I'd recommend for anyone looking for a good volunteering experience. Thank yoU Chris and all the team.

Had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. Met some incredible people. Hung out with the locals. Took the guests on trips and to the bars. Managed to explore the whole island. Chris was very knowledgeable. Great experience

My stay at the hostel was a memorable one and such a fine experience. The locations is perfect for hitting all those spots located in Zona Colonial- El Conde, Chinatown, and the main Zona are for restaurants and live music. The host Chris was incredibly kind, outgoing, and very willing to help. Seriously, if you have anything questions about the island and how to travel around. He's your guy to ask. The guest and my coworker-volunteers which whom I've made friends with were all super cool people from around the world. If you're a Worldpackers planning to stay here. DO IT!

The hostel is located in the Zona Colonial, where you can experience both local community life and Dominican tourist life. In terms of the stay and volunteering, everything went as expected. Pleasant work, nice colleagues, opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world. If you want to spend time in the Dominican Republic, work in an atmospheric place with wonderful people and have an ideal starting point to the most diverse corners of the island, I would 100% recommend the hostel.

I recommend the experience if you are looking to sumerge in the dominican culture . The hostal its in a great location you can walk to everywhere and also chris its super flexible with the schedules . Santo Domingo its a great city for those who want the real experience

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena! El hostal tiene una ubicación perfecta, cercana a supermercados y atractivos turísticos. Siempre estás conociendo a personas nuevas y eso es lo mejor. El staff del hostel me recibió muy bien y me hicieron sentir en casa. Espero volver muy pronto y obvio se los recomiendo a todos🤍

The hostel was by far my favorite experience working in a hostel. I was able to immerse myself in the culture and practice spanish due to its location, which just so happens to be a very safe area. Being that it is located in the city, you will never run out of things to do, and Chris, the host, will help and direct you on different things to try. Make sure to ask about Taco Tuesday

This was my 4th time here (first ones through another app). I've always felt like home. Amazing vibe always! Thank you Chris and the hostel team for always making me feel at home and taking care of me as a solo traveler. There's some details that can be improved on the property but overall amazing experience I would recommend 100%. (Santo Domingo is not a city close to the beach so I would recommend you go around the island on your days off)
