I had a wonderful experience at the home. Out of 6 volunteer projects I have done, this one might be my favorite. Beautiful house & grounds & wonderful food. I worked with 4 other volunteers on a cottage demolition project — although the tasks were physically strenuous at times, we had so much fun as a team & after work we would enjoy the pool or a bike ride. Faye & her children are so welcoming & kind — you will feel at home away from home. Hope to return one day ❤️

I've done a lot of volunteering and this one just made my top 5 list. I felt welcomed and it was great spending time with Faye and her lovely family. It felt like home, the food was always really good and I loved the game nights. About the work, it was as I expected, according to what is in the description here and as Faye had already told me in the messages. There's a lot to be done, but it's worth it as the home has a revitalizing energy. Especially for those who want to be in contact with nature. By the way, there are two adorable dogs that just makes everything even better.

This was my second WP and it was amazing, everything I hoped and more. It was great to have a list of jobs and the freedom to choose what hours in the day I worked as long as I got it done. The food was great, I was able to use the bikes to see some local bands which was so much fun. 100% would recommend. The dogs are super cute and friendly.

Faye was a very welcoming and social host, she really knows how to make you feel welcome and safe. The tasks are pretty difficult but you should definitely apply if you're up for a challenge! I was sick for a lot of my stay so unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to, but it was definitely an experience. There are certain times of the day where everyone comes together at the family table and we all learn and respect different opinions and cultures. Overall, I would recommend this worldpacker especially for someone's first experience and for someone who is up for a challenge.

This was my first time volunteering for Worldpackers and it was great! Faye is an amazing host and someone who I was able to get on great with. The food was amazing. The whole family makes you feel like you're one of their own. Tasks could be difficult at times but Faye is always appreciative for when hard-work has been done. Faye is also great for encouraging you to go exploring around nearby areas / partake in local events and helps you plan when needed. I was able to meet lots of different people who were also travelling from all different parts of the world 🌍 .

Faye was a wonderful host during my stay at the home. When I was sick, she made sure I was okay and able to heal properly. The family is super welcoming and made my stay even more enjoyable. I loved the atmosphere, the people, and the work :)

The trip was amazing. Faye and the family are really welcoming and loving, and they take care of you very well. I was lucky enough to stay for a while and in the time we had 3 different birthday parties for people. The food is great, rooms are clean and it's a very relaxed environment. They even help you out if you do trips in the middle of your stay. Would 100% Recommend!!

The experience was amazing! It was my first time volunteering and I learned a lot. It's excellent for practice your English, connect with the nature and meeting people from all around the world. The job is not easy, but it was exactly what Faye described before going! I'm very thankful with the family, the "dinner time" was excellent: good food and a great opportunity to know different ways of living and different opinions about the world. Thank you very much!

This was me and my friend Sara's first worldpackers experience and it was great! the home is beautiful, as is the area around it. We had clear instructions to follow, and when the weather made it hard to work outside, we were able to dodge the rain and work inside. The dinners that we shared together were a good opportunity to talk and socialize, and the food (and wine) was great too. Had a good time!
