My time with Joanna and Charlie was great, met so many lovely dogs and had many walks in nature. The room & house are cozy and the tasks are fair, mostly cleaning up and walking the dogs. Cambridge is a beautiful city and the bus ride is not too long - but it doesn't run on sundays. Joanna cooks really well, and they accommodated our vegan diet with much care. Definitely recommend!

I had a great time in here. Joanna and Charlie made me feel part of the family. Working with the dogs was such a lovely experience. The location is in the rural area so it was a great opportunity for me to meditate and relax. Definitely a place to have calm experience. Only on Sundays there's no public transport so it's hard to do anything on that day. The activities at the house are easy to make, it's more about checking what needs to be done; there's also a lot of walking in the nature which I enjoyed.

My stay in the home was incredible! Joanna and Charlie are wonderful people and made me feel at home from day one. I had the opportunity to live unforgettable moments and meet the cutest dogs, who are now forever in my heart. It was a unique experience that I will always carry with me. I highly recommend it

Joanna and Charlie are wonderful people, they made me feel at home, and even though my English level wasn't very advanced, they were willing to understand me and explain things several times if I didn't understand something. I really valued the experience, it was my first volunteer experience and I would definitely do it again.

My stay has really been very good, I'll be leaving soon, but I have the best memories, very sociable, respectful and I always felt very comfortable, very grateful for everything, I hope to meet again.

My volunteer experience has been truly lovely. Joanna's delicious home-cooked meals and Charlie's amazing cocktails were absolute highlights. I already miss the dogs at the house, as well as our peaceful walks in nature. It's a great spot if you want to relax in nature, but keep in mind it's a quiet country village and the last bus is around 7 p.m. It's been a warm, memorable chapter that I'll always look back on with a smile.

I had a lovely stay in the home with Jo and Charlie, I really got to soak up the countryside nearby and explore the fields via cycling. Bonus of being able to hop into the gorgeous city of Cambridge after the mornings and on weekends. I really appreciated all the food, advice and conversations that Jo and Charlie were able to offer. I helped walking all the doggies that came to stay and cleaned around the home in any way I could as well as offering help in the garden. Thanks again for hosting me!

So sorry Julia - hadn't realised there is a time limit to write a review.
Julia cheerfully did everything asked of her and she was great with the dogs - calm, kind and confident. She is enthusiastic, reliable and responsible and we enjoyed our conversations and introduction to Moldovan food!
Julia is keen to make the most of her time away & pack in as many experiences as possible.

I had the best time getting to know Joanna and Charlie. They are amazing people who will make you feel welcome the minute you get into their home. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about what it's like working with dogs. I got to spend a lot of time in nature, explore around Cambridge, enjoy Joanna's incredible cooking and laugh at Charlie's jokes;) I highly recommend this experience!

I had a wonderful time in the home. Johanna and Charlie are wonderful hosts, who not only respected you privacy, but also made sure to teach you about their culture, and asked questions about yours. The tasked you as a volunteer got asked to do are very reasonable, and if you make sure to communicate in advance what your plans are for the day, I experienced that they also are pretty flexible regarding when you finish your work (which was really kind because that way, I got to discover more of beautiful Cambridge and the surrounding areas). Thank you for opening your home to me!
