This was by far my favourite teaching experience to date. The children are well looked after, eager to learn and a joy to teach. Happy, bright little souls with beautiful hearts. I miss them already! Fede's dedication to her work is inspiring and she is a wonderful lady to meet and know. The other teachers are also friendly and eager to engage. Be sure to try the fried tarantulas near the Walk Street event!

My time at AKA has been nothing short of incredible. The school has taught me so much and in ways I have never imagined. Ive not only gotten the chance to make meaningful connections with the students but I also had the opportunity to get to know the teachers who foster such a positive and inspiring Atmosphere for the children everyday. Thank you to teacher Fede for making me feel welcome and at home both in the school and in the accommodation. I also want to express my deep appreciation to all the teachers especially teacher Darin, Vord, Dalin and sokhchea for making me feel welcome.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the school. The teachers and staff are so welcoming and genuinely love the school. The students are so bright and have a genuine love for learning. I'm grateful that I was able to contribute to the school and still have time to explore Phnom Penh and Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. I can't believe how fast my month and a half went by! Thank you to the teachers, students, and staff. I will never forget my experience at the school!

I loved my experience as a volunteer. I love children so spending time with them was the best part of this experience.Other teachers are very nice and many of them can really help you in gaining new skills when it comes to working with the school. The house was great, everything functioned and it is very near the school. The food was also great, i had lunch at school and i loved it. The breakfast i had snacks and coffee because that is what i asked for and what i prefer. Thank you very much for this nice experience! :D

My partner and I had comfortable housing, kind staff, & decent food. WiFi was supposed to be included with our accommodation. Despite multiple promises, it was never provided. Most students were sweet. However, serious behavioral issues—such as inappropriate touching & frequent hitting—were not addressed. The main issue was health: a teacher stated she had tuberculosis & returned to work while contagious. Despite raising concerns about the safety of staff & children, no precautions were taken, this caused us to leave early.

Volunteering at the school Kids Academy was life-changing for me. I took on this position to grow professionally, and I certainly did! I am truly grateful for the trust and support I received from the staff, especially from Mr. Pheng. And the students... will forever hold a special place in my heart!

Volunteering at the the school in Phnom Penh was an incredible experience. The local teachers and staff were welcoming and friendly, making my time there truly memorable. I loved joining the the school for activities like visiting the National Museum of Phnom Penh, which helped me discover Cambodia's beautiful culture and history. The whole experience was deeply fulfilling, and I am grateful for the connections and insights I gained. For those reasons I decided to extend my staying in Phnom Penh with this amazing community.
