Hallo! Volunteering in this farm consisted on taking care of animals and doing construction work. The tasks ranged from feeding and moving animals 🐄, cleaning their living spaces, chopping old wood 🪓 and helping out on their newest construction project. I had a very nice time with them while playing some chess with the kids♟️. They are truly caring and loving people, very generous and open-minded. I learned very valuable things from their way of life. This is a really good place to immerse in German culture and meet a beautiful local community of neighbours and friends. Danke für alles!

I had a wonderful time at Oliver's and Dana's farm. They welcomed me into their family and community from day one. The meals were together and the tasks varied depending on what was needed. The way they work is very interesting and they treat the animals with care. It's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in German farm life and culture. I spent two weeks in the farm. It was my first Worldpacker's experience and I really enjoyed it. The tasks were useful and various: feeding and moving animals, putting fences, helping in the restoration of a building, collecting potatoes… The family was really nice too and explained the tasks good, they were ready to help if you had any question. I would recommend this experience to everyone who wants to see the daily life in a farm and that want to know the German culture.

My experiene with Oliver and Dana was incredible. This was my first solo trip and I was made to feel well at home. It was great to work with the machinary and care for the cows. I really enjoyed playing with the children and helping them with their homework. Would highly recommend this work stay to anyone who wants to be in touch with nature and get a family feel experience.

I had an amazing experience staying at the farm! I really enjoyed everything I got to help with, and it was truly incredible. I felt completely at home from the first moment. The food was delicious, the children were lovely, and I had so much fun spending time with them. I even learned a lot of German thanks to them haha! The owners are such kind and wonderful people, and it was so much fun working with the animals. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back!

I've been there already earlier this summer for 3 weeks and my stay was so unforgettable and delightful that I went back 3 weeks later. I already have a longer review, but I would like to write it again that I can highly recommend this place to anyone who is open-minded, loves children and people in general.

The three weeks I've spent at Philip's the farm was my first ever volunteer experience, and it honestly couldn't have been better. I felt part of the family and was treated that way. All the family members are amazing people, who are always kind, helpful and cheerful, every one of them has their own personalities with different virtues. This part of Germany is also one, that made me feel like I'm in a dream with all the freedom in the world. (Köln and Bonn can be also easily visited from there.) I would also recommend this place if you want to practice some german.

Had a great time with Oliver and his family. Every day I looked forward to helping out on the farm with something new. Tasks included bring water to cows, weeding, fencing, moving animals, feeding animals, building stuff. Accomodation is in a trailer and I recommend you bring a sleeping mask as there is no blinds and some slip on shoes to walk to the bathroom. Food is typical german food so bread and cheese. Would definitely go back again!

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I couldn't imagine a better start. All family members are kind. Oliver and Dana made me feel welcome since day one. Days are always busy — they take care of three girls, the farm, house chores, and outside jobs. It's inspiring to see so much happening daily. I helped with some construction and farm tasks. They give simple instructions and lots of freedom to get things done. I had a trailer to myself. Sunsets are always mesmerizing! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out :)

We had an amazing experience here. Meals with the family were very special, one person serves everyone generously, and we all start together after “Bon Appétit.” The immersion in German was incredible since the children don't speak English, which made learning natural. Daily visits from friends created a friendly and social atmosphere. Tasks included painting, weeding, cooking, and cleaning. We loved the animals, tractor rides, and their healthy, pesticide-free farming. We had lots of privacy and comfort. We are leaving with so many great memories. We will miss this place and this family.
