Rahma und Xabier are great hosts, very easy und chill people. Due to the house being a bit quieter whilst I was there I was doing the standard volunteer position rather than content creation which was perfect for me and agreed upon beforehand. The tasks and shifts were very easy and allowed time for sitting and enjoying the company of the guests as well. I believe there is usually no more than 2 volunteers at a time and sometimes 1, this wasn't an issue for me at all but something to be mindful of if you are searching for a very social spot. The town itself feels very safe and friendly.

The hostel is the perfect place to chill and relax. The work is easygoing, and both the village and the house invite you to chill out and surf. Even though the house doesn't have its own surfboards, you can go to the surf shops by the beach and get good rental deals if you mention you're volunteering there. Rahma and Xabi are really nice and give the hostel a warm, family-like vibe. If you want to relax and be by the sea, this is the place!

Amazing experience at the hostel! If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the place. The tasks are light: helping with breakfast, check-in/out, and cleaning—split into two shifts (morning & evening). Rahma and Xavier are super welcoming, kind, and flexible. I'd definitely recommend this place to any volunteer!

If you are looking for really calm but authentic experience-the hostel is a place for You. Rahma and Xiabi are both-funny and carrying, so You will feel like home since the first day. Tasks are very simple and You have plenty of time to try surfing, meet locals and travel around. Place has its charm so working there is a pleasure itself. Unforgettable time, truly recommend!

I had such a lovely time at the hostel – it really felt like home! I really want to say a big thank you to Rahma and Xabi. They are both so helpful and friendly. If you're after a more local and quiet experience, then Tamraght is the place for you! Here, you can really get to experience this country in a relaxed way. Oh, you know I really loved it there – I just can't recommend it enough!

My stay at the hostel was just wonderful. Rahma and Xabier are really welcoming and warm hearted people. The hostel is a chill and cozy place where you can feel at home. You have a great view for the sunset over the ocean next to the hills. The tasks are easy to do and there is enough time to enjoy your time in the hammock reading a book, writing or going surfing. The pancakes are also just great. I highly recommend this place if you look for a relaxed place! :)

The hostel is such a beautiful and welcoming place, and Rahma and Xabier are two of the kindest, warmest, and just genuinely cool people I've met. They create an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from day one. The work is super chill and well-organized, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the beach, surf, or explore the area. Tamraght itself is one of the best places in the world — peaceful, sunny, and full of good vibes. If you want to discover the laid-back and relaxed side of Morocco, love the ocean, and enjoy good company, I can't recommend this place enough.

I went already two times to the hostel and both times were a blast! The place is beautiful and it has the sweetest terrace. Xabi and Rahma really care and the volunteers are creating an amazing vibe. Totally recommend 🥰

It was my first volunteering experience & I had a wonderful time at the hostel :) The tasks were simple. In the morning prepare breakfast & clean. In the afternoon help guests with check-ins. When there were no guests we could relax on the terrace, which is the best spot in the hostel. The hostel is small, clean & had a family-like vibe. However, we felt uncomfortable with a camera on the terrace & the host messaging us after 11 pm to be quiet. Even after midnight, we were told to go to bed, which felt a bit overbearing. Despite this I had a positive experience & can recommend! (plus ur own room)

Thank you for your review Aileen, the Cameras in the terrace are for security reasons, and one of the main tasks of our volunteers hosts, is to keep the order in the hostel, and make sure that there is no noise, and respect the other guests and the neighbours, and the culture, we cannot accept the noise in our hostel in the night, the locals neighbours were complaining, we hope that you could understand the situation, it’s one of the rules of our Surf house.
