At this moment we can really use some people with construction, carpenter and renovation skills. We could use someone who can machine stitch. We welcome all people who can help with gardening, cleaning, cooking, social media, bookings systems, painting etc.

Détails du programme

Welcome, Braveheart; we are happy to have you on board. Enjoy your adventure with us.

Work expectation: Weekly five days, MINIMUM 25 and 30 hours depends on how efficient you work. Depending on the work, weather, and season, we start to work together in winter from 8:00-1:00 and, if later, up to 5 pm. In Summer, we start earlier depending on the heat. Can be as early as 5,6,7 or 8:00 (already hot). You complete your 5 hours and have your day free after lunch around 1-1:30.

Work: If there is no emergency work, you will have a choice of things to do. Please make sure you speak up and let us know directly if something is bothering you. We will be glad to hear you.

Sometimes, the communication can be straightforward (do not take anything personally, 'The four agreements'). It is never disrespectful or mean but straightforward, and we expect the same from you.

Activités et horaires

Here is an example of the works that we do :

* In october/november you can help harvest olives and you will be able to experience the proces from 'olive on the tree' to 'extra pure virgin olive oil'.
* Helping pruning the olive trees or (taking away the branches and burn them) (nov-dec-jan-feb-mar).
* Helping building dry stone walls in the fields.
* Weeding the garden.
* Taking care and watering of the vegetable gardens and plants.
* Cleaning out the pool (areas) and preparing for spring/summer (april-may).
* Spraying the olive trees with bio products (feb march).
* Painting walls, doors and fences inside and outside.
* Cleaning up ashes from the volcano all over the property.
* Cooking lunch for the team.
* General cleaning tasks.
* General maintenance tasks.
* Chopping wood for the fireplaces.

4. You have physical problems. You need to be physically healthy, so if you have back problems or any other health issue what disables you from doing physical work, please skip.
5. You have heavy emotional problems. We are not qualified as your shrink, nor parents.
6. You don't have travel insurance.
7. You are looking for a cheap hotel.
8. You only have a week to come over. Minimum stay is three weeks.
