The host exceeded expectations! I spent 3 months working on their Laravel backend/CRM. The staff is incredibly welcoming and made me feel like family. Gaziantep is conservative but has great food and amazing historical sites nearby (Göbeklitepe, Mount Nemrut). The apartment is nice with a 45min commute. I worked on meaningful projects and had deep conversations with students. Not a party destination, but perfect for authentic cultural immersion and technical work. The team here creates a genuine family atmosphere. I can see myself coming back! Teşekkürler! 🇹🇷

The host is a very special place, the staff, the students and the locals are very kind and friendly. The café is in a very nice area of the city. The volunteers live in an apartment 45 minutes tram ride from the host, (the commuting is on you). You will practice English every day, make friends, taste delicious food and have fun. Thank you guys for having me as a teacher. I highly recommend this experience.

This was my first volunteer and I really love this experience! I like to go beyond the typical tourism, explore the culture, the food, people and 'the host' is the place to be if you want this. People at the café were really friendly, respectful & supportive always with a smile. Girl's apt. with all the facilities and the people I met absolutely amazing. I'm leaving tomorrow to continue my journey and I already miss it. Antep has the best cuisine in Turkey so enjoy it! Thks to all the staff, volunteers for making me feel part of this family, I'll take you in my heart ♡.Teşekkür ederim Fouad.

Volunteering at the host in Gaziantep was incredible! I taught English through conversations and fun activities to students of all ages, making each session engaging. The city has amazing food and plenty of places to explore nearby. Hours are great—5 PM to 10:15 PM—leaving your days free. The local people are friendly, and the staff make you feel truly welcomed. It's a rewarding experience for anyone who loves teaching, cultural exchange, and meeting warm, inspiring locals.

The English school is really great! The teachers are dedicated, the classes are engaging, and there's always a positive atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, which makes the whole experience even better. The only minor downsides are the distance from the apartment to the café and the fact that only one meal per day is included. Other than that, everything went very well. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their English in a fun and effective way!

For professional English teacher, this is a very good opportunity for you to experience and teach with students without worrying to make mistakes, because you will learn a lot through shadowing with the teachers, but do know that this is not one on one speaking practice , and you will also need to pass the demo class before they let you do the whole class by yourself. Other than the classroom, İ met a lot of great friends and students all in the host. İ am happy to get along with all Turkish friends . İ feel like we are one family , brother and sister. Cheers!

The host was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! I didn't just learn a lot with Fouad and Nada, I also made amazing friends, had fun nights, great drinks, and events that always made me feel at home. The only small thing I'd suggest is about the host families. Thanks for everything—I'd love to come back someday!

This will be a long review, but it's worth the read! This was my first volunteer experience, and it was amazing. Our hosts were great. I visited with my partner, and even though our cultures are different, everyone adapted to each other wonderfully. Our experience in Turkey was so cool. Before arriving in Gaziantep, we also stayed in Istanbul and explored the city. Nada and Fouad were fantastic hosts, and my partner and I got to enjoy the city like locals! When you arrive in Gaziantep, please explore and meet the local people! They are so great. On a side note, the public transport is great.

Overall, my experience in the host was really good. I spent a lot of time teaching English, working with locals, being able to interact with other volunteers that are also teaching English, taking photos, making videos, and designing web pages. I loved how like I was able to just meet and experience things that I could not have done as a tourist or as a visitor because I got really engrossed in the culture. I was able to hear direct stories, hear direct values and opinions that I could only get in touch with in a trusted, safe environment, which was really, really conducive in the host.

I had a great experience at the host with the whole team, and it was fulfilling to teach English! I taught everyone, from people who couldn't say "how are you" to those who were able to hold business meetings in English if necessary. I met many people and learned a great deal about Turkish culture, especially that of Antep. I'd highly recommend spending some time at the host with KJ and Fouad! It was undoubtedly a life-changing experience that I'd recommend to anybody looking to get experience teaching, or just try something new and exciting!
