L'expérience

Volunteers are needed to help us teach English to kids in Cambodia’s countryside, by creating interactive lessons that help them improve their language abilities. A local teacher will assist you in the class, and you will have books and materials to teach, but you are free to create your courses.

There are 3 class blocks a day (morning, afternoon, and evening), and you can choose the schedule you prefer. We have students from 7yo to 18 yo.

Frais supplémentaires requis

Montant: US$ 5 Par jour

Description: Volunteers contribute 5$ per day to cover food and accommodation. Additionally, volunteers will need to pay an extra 5$ for the t-shirt they will use for teaching, and also they need to pay for the pick-up, which is 15$ if they come from Siem Reap and 20$ if they come from the airport.

We welcome any person who wants to help us to improve the life of our disadvantaged students, by giving them opportunities through education.

In exchange, we would love to share the Cambodian culture with you!

Activités et horaires

We teach young children (7yo to 11yo) in the morning from 8.00 am until 11:00 am, and in the afternoon from 1.00 pm until 4.00 pm. During the evening, we teach teenage students (12yo to 18yo) from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm. There are different levels depending on the kids' English abilities, and each level has its own curriculum.

Règles

No alcohol and no smoking in the school. For child protection, you are not allowed to hug children.
