L'expérience

We are top rated hostel very close to the main entrance of Tayrona national park. Every year we are listed in Lonely Planet guides as a top backpacker's choice in this part of Colombia.

We are looking for volunteers who could help us in reception and restaurant related tasks.
At the reception the 5 hours shifts are from 7am to 12pm, 12 to 5pm and 5 to 10pm.
You don't need to have previous experience, just a good attitude and work ethics.

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Dîner: Vous avez droit à un dîner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Laverie Gratuite: Vous pouvez utiliser notre buanderie librement.

Visites gratuites: Nous vous emmènerons faire des visites et des balades en ville. Gratuitement !

Détails du programme

You choose your shifts in agreement with the administrator and other volunteers. We are very flexible and will always try to find a good solution that fits everyone.
The main tasks at the reception are: receiving guests, doing check ins, giving them all the relevant information about the hostel and the activities that they can do in the area, booking tours and transport for them, doing the check outs, replying messages...
It is important that you are friendly and capable to solve different situations in best possible manner. Don't worry, you'll always have support from the administration and maintenance crew.

Activités et horaires

All the volunteers will receive their part in tips and commissions (receptionist receive commissions from sold tours and transport and the restaurant volunteers receive their tips from bar/restaurant). You'll also have free tours (tubing, cacao tour, massage...) that will help you to promote them better to our guests.
In your free time you can visit many interesting sites in vicinity (Tayrona, Palomino, Taganga, Santa Marta, Minca, Quebrada Valencia, Mendihuaca Beach, Lost City...)

You have to be able to live and work in group. You'll share the same space with others, so try to be respectful and patient with others. :)
