This was my first experience with worldpackers and it was wonderful!My experience at the hotel with the Orrego family was amazing. Everyone was welcoming, the staff was friendly. I helped out in reception and as a waiter in the restaurant. when I was not helping out, i got to explore Lanquin. This is an experience I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful culture and the lovely people of laquin guatemala

I had a bad time with this host. I did not meet other travelers. I didn't have food every day I wanted him to work longer. The room where I slept with cockroaches and ants. It was an old bunk. I had no communication with my coworkers. I don't recommend that place for the volunteers.

I don't recommend this experience. Rudy is very disorganized and opportunistic. No room was prepared for me when I arrived so I stuck in a men's dorm. The room I was moved to was full of roaches and ants. Even though we agreed on certain hours, Rudy expects volunteers and staff to behave like slaves and work long hours at the drop of a dime. He tried to force me to take a 4am hike when I only had 2 hours of sleep. He also does unscrupulous things to try to get you to spend money you don't want to spend. This was a terrible experience.
