The hostel was my first positive volunteer opportunity that I've had using this app. Nico and Angelica are amazing people and so fun and create such a welcome environment for guests and volunteers alike. If you want a true home away from home, this is the spot. I went back as a volunteer the second time because the energy is so fun and amazing and I met such incredible people both times. Fue una gran experiencia, un gran lugar para aprender a bailar salsa caleña. El dueño Nico me recibió muy bien es una gran persona con una excelente vibra, también Angélica me recibió muy bien y me enseñó todo lo del voluntariado. Gracias por todo la pasé genial. Se que volveré Cali es una maravillosa ciudad y el hostel mi segundo hogar

O hostel é muito aconchegante, me senti em casa muito rápido. Fiz amigos voluntários e hóspedes tbm. Temos oportunidade de fazer tour, o que eh mto massa e participar das aulas d salsa. Angélica e Nico, estão sempre disponíveis para ajudar com qqer coisa. O bairro é muito bom, perto dos principais clubes e centro. Recomendo muito.

I had a great experience at the hostel! Nico (the owner) is happy to help, very present and great energy. During my time at the hostel I practiced my Spanish, learnt how to cook Colombian food (big big thanks to Angelica and Janet) and dance salsa and bachata. If you are looking for good vibes and to experience local Cali culture I'd highly recommend the hostel!

El mejor lugar de todos! 🫶🏻 Súper acogedor y siempre tomando en cuenta el bienestar de todos. No hubiese podido elegir un mejor hostel para hacer el voluntariado. 💗 Angelica (la manager) es la mejor de todasss y la más hermosa, desde el principio te hace sentir parte de la familia y da buenos regalos ajajajaj

El hostel tiene una vibra muy positiva, me encantó participar aquí y ser parte del staff del bar, mi primera experiencia de bar y la verdad que me voy muy feliz y contento de haber participado en el hostel!! La pse increible y Nico el dueño y todo el staff y voluntarios fueron increíbles siempre con ganas de ayudar y estar siempre juntos. Recomiendo mucho el hostel.

My 4 weeks in the hostel passed by really fast. Thank you Nico for hosting me, thank you Angelica for choosing me and explaning everthing and thank you Team for being amazing. The schedule for given to us every saturday for the next week. You have exactly the 3 shifts as told. Mostly the afternoon or Night shit. If you find another volunteer to change the shifts you have also a bit of felxibiltiy. During my time we were 6 Volunteers and everybody helped each other. We were sleeping in a small room which was a bit hot but we had landury. Not to forget our dance clases, I loved!!

Voluntariar em the hostel foi uma experiência incrível, o hostel tem um espaço lindo e a conexão entre os voluntários e o staff é de muito boa energia… O trabalho é simples sem complicações e todos horarios são sempre respeitados. Nico o dono , Angelica a “gerente” e Janed a senhora do asseio são muito amáveis e nos fazem sentir em casa. O café da manhã bem servido e muito gostoso. E se quer se conectar com a cultura da salsa e/ou aprender a dançar não há lugar melhor para se hospedar em Cali. Super recomendo voluntariar em the hostel, ganhei uma casa em Cali.

¡Tuve una experiencia increíble en Oásis Hostel! Las actividades y horarios se siguen como se describen y son muy tranquilos. ¡Estoy inmensamente agradecido al equipo del hostel por su intercambio, atención y respeto, así como a los voluntarios e invitados que hicieron que esta experiencia fuera única! Definitivamente recomiendo este voluntariado :)

My volunteering experience at this hostel was fantastic! Nicos and Angelica warmly welcomed me and ensured I understood the tasks and schedule clearly. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere gave off a wonderful family vibe, making it a joy to be there. As a first-time volunteer, I highly recommend this hostel experience to anyone.
