All the staff were friendly and always willing to help. They encouraged us to enjoy the surf camp facilities — we could go kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, or play beach volleyball anytime. We also had bikes, so it was easy to cycle into town in 10 minutes. On weekends, they kindly drove us to the train station. It's a peaceful place, perfect for staying active and watching beautiful sunsets. The town is small, but Amsterdam and nearby cities are easy to reach (for budget travelers trains can be pricey). I really enjoyed my time at Lifetime Sports and recommend it!

During the time I was there, I stayed very engaged and learned a lot. I enjoyed the parties and the flexibility, the teamwork, and the opportunity to interact with the groups in general. If I had the chance, I would go back there again.

Had an amazing time at the surf camp. The work was easy, the facilities are great, the food is tasty, the staff are friendly and most importantly - they know how to party. Of course, its important to mention that most of the people in the camp primarily speak German, so it's important to put yourself out there and be outgoing despite the language barrier, believe me - you won't regret it. Oh, and this is the best place to learn windsurfing!

My time at the surf camp was legendary! A very large Dankeschön to the entire team. Immediately was welcomed in and enjoyed some epic parties , picked up a little German, got some tennis in and of course time out on the water wind surfing. Food is great! Room was great! Work hours are scheduled and tasks laid out. All necessary equipment provided and the team is always available to answer questions. A true gem of Worldpackers. Many cheers from Canada and best of luck with the rest of the season. May the winds be strong and the beer stronger

Esse voluntariado superou todas as minhas expectativas. A escola que também funciona como hotel tipo colônia de férias recebe muito grupos de estudantes e famílias, a maioria vindo da Alemanha. O trabalho dos voluntários é de segunda a sexta-feira (5 horas por dia). Tomamos café da manhã juntos as 9h e jantamos as 18h30. Eles cozinham, mas também podemos cozinhar (se quisermos). No tempo livre depois do trabalho, ou nas folgas que são nos finais de semana podemos disfrutar como quisermos e acreditem, eu não senti nenhuma vontade de ir a outro lugar. AMEI cada dia e quero voltar.

El surf camp is a magical place. It's a site with sport equipment and bungalows that schools and families rent for weekends or longer stays. Your job is not too hard, they will give you a task schedule. Personally, this place gave me so much—peace, joy, fun, and precious time for myself in the best possible conditions. 🇲🇽 Español: Está de pocamadre este lugar, si los aceptan, ya la hicieron, hagan de todo y disfruten al 1000 y no hay pedo por el alemán, hagan el esfuerzo por preguntarles cosas en inglés y ya, portense bien! 🇩🇪 German: Ich habe es geliebt, meine Zeit mit euch zu teilen.

Fue una experiencia super linda. Son muy amigables y frente a un inconveniente, super entendieron mi situación. Es un espacio para relajarse y conectarse con la naturaleza. Lo único es que es un ligar donde se habla en alemán, por lo que si la idea es aprender ingles no es ahí. Super recomendable!

I'd like to thank everyone for being kind, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and I'm glad to have been part of it.I had the chance to try new water sports and foods for the first time, which was a great experience. Although I expected more international diversity, most participants were German — making it an ideal place for improving German. I also appreciated their help with transportation; it made everything much easier.

The volunteering at Life Time Sports was very good! The place is incredible, by the canals and a lake full of ducks and swans. The accommodations are good and comfortable. The food is incredibly free. You have access to many sports facilities. . The staff is young and welcoming. My only concern is about the language. Since it is a German company, all the staff who work at the campsite are German and speak German. So, during times when everyone is together, I usually didn't feel included. But my time at the campsite was mostly good! Thank you for everything, everyone! I learn a lot!!
