I had a great time at the hostel London! The team definitely respected the working hours - however, the work was not always a walk in the park: some of the premises were really dirty (e.g. the kitchen in the basement), which in my opinion would require professional deep cleaning from time to time – something that volunteers without training simply cannot provide... The staff and volunteers were all super friendly and welcoming! Many thanks to the hostel for making this first volunteer experience possible for me. I can recommend it with a clear conscience!! Nice place with kind people! Great location to explore all of London and the work is not too difficult. Hours are respected and you often end up with lunch as well as breakfast and dinner if you take leftovers. Over all I had a good experience but since a lot of residents are staying long term, the environment is not like a regular hostel (less travelers and tourist and more students or workers). Thanks the hostel for a good stay!

My experience at the hostel Paddington was amazing! I met a lot of great people and made really good friends. The hostel is very well located, the meals are great, and the hours are respected. The amount of stairs provides a good daily cardio workout tho 😂 I highly recommend it to everyone and can't wait to go back!

My experience at the hostel Paddington was positive. The place has a good location. The contact with the other volunteers is pleasant. The reception staff are friendly and understanding. I changed rooms a few times, but I understand that they were undergoing renovations. The hours are respected and they are ready to be flexible with the needs of the volunteers. I was in the kitchen and the work was quiet, but intense and dynamic. Depending on the chef in charge, the atmosphere can be peaceful or you can count down the hours until your shift is over. It was good and I will remember it fondly.

I really had fun meeting volunteers and residents from different parts of the world! The location is really nice, there are 4 tube stations nearby(Paddington, Lancaster Gate, Queensway and Bayswater). Free laundry once per week. Two meals a day(not very vegetarian friendly though), and it's really nice to have kitchens to cook in! I hope the volunteers' rooms were more spacious, or at least don't sqeeze 4 beds in one room. Fortunately if you speak to the manager they can try to solve your problems. Hope all of you can start friendships lasting your whole life :)
