Volunteer and help teach rural children in Mukono, Uganda

Our organization is running a non profit learning center in the rural areas of Mukono for orphans and vulnerable children from poor families. The center has classes from baby to primary four, with three staff teachers and one cook.

Your help is needed in teaching English and math, music, sports, gardening, and paint classes.

You can also do P[photography and give ideas for fundraisings for the school.

Détails du programme

The center take on children between the age of 3 to 12 years, its a day center these children come from vulnerable and poor families therefore volunteers' help out,
A) Teachers.

We need them in teaching English, math, music, art drawing, painting, accounting, sports and gardening.

B)Help with social Media networking and web designing and photography
We are still not good with the above mentioned skills that is why we need volunteers to assist us achieve these gaps.

C) Help us with fundraising
we are in need of volunteers who can organize fundraising opportunities both locally and internationally to facilitate the necessary projects to help children. In turn our organization will award certificates of appreciation at the end of your valued time spend with us, free accommodation and pick up from and back to the Airport.

Activités et horaires

1. Teaching the children Monday to Thursday starting from 8:30am to 3:30pm
and these are the different activities involved, class work, sports, serving of meals, mentoring, one on one child interaction, cultural Music dance and drummer
2. social media, web designing and photography. 4 hours in a day and 3days in a week.
3. Fundraising activity 3hours in a day 4days a week

Règles

Volunteers are encouraged to work with one of our staff members for guidance and interpretation in the local language.
Night activities are not allowed and not good for volunteers while with us.
Smoking in public place is not good.
