I had a great experience at the hostel! It was so much fun getting to know the other volunteers and Lydia and Bryton. The work was fun and easy. We had lots of free time with opportunities to explore around Puerto Viejo with the bike that they provided. Communication with Lydia was effective and clear! The location was perfect with the closest beach just across the street! A great add was the trivia nights at the restaurant and the movie nights with pasta!

Lovely! Plenty of free time to chill and explore, the work is very easy. You get the schedule ahead of time so very well organized and you can easily plan your free time! I was treated with much respect and Lydia and Brighton were very welcoming. The hostel is beautiful butbe prepared to see a lot of cockroaches and frogs in the kitchen since it's outdoors. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a hostel with a family type of vibe, but rather if you wish to enjoy free and private time it's perfect! Only negative part was the laundry system which was very time consuming and complicated
