We renovated the building that had been a boarding school for 40 years...
Managing to avoid it being abandoned and forgotten.
Now it's a protected historical building with a great soul.
It took a great effort to keep it as a public property; this has been possible
thanks to all our guests' positive feedback and to the support of the local
community.
We are building our team :))
Ideal minimum staying is 2 months.

Détails du programme

We are building our team to join us for the summer 2026
● Details:
Our season starts the 1st of May 2026 and it ends the 31st of October 2026
The staying for each member of the team is a minimum of 3 months and of course
depending on the circumstances it can be extended
The job-task would be very practical and previous hostel/hospitality experiences are
necessary.
Positive, independent and a friendly personality is a must.
● Requirements

● Activities & Shifts
The running of the hostel is based on 3 shifts each day;
Each member of the staff is responsible and independent in running their own shift.
Shifts are as such:
Breakfast shift: From 6.30 am to 14.30 pm
This involves breakfast preparation (buffet), buffet refills, cleaning tables,
dishwashing (industrial dishwasher available), cleaning kitchen etc.
After breakfast is finished (around 9.30 am), we take care of refilling breakfast items for thenext day and clean everything in the kitchen and the breakfast room.
After a break, the team member moves to the upper floor of the hostel and carries out the
housekeeping of that floor: there we have 5 rooms, 1 toilet and 1 small guest kitchen (12
beds total). The housekeeping involves stripping and making beds, participating in laundry,
cleaning all surfaces, cleaning the guest kitchen and bathroom, vacuuming and mopping
all floors.
Housekeeping shift: from 9.30 am to 4.00pm
This shift takes care of the housekeeping of all the lower floor of the hostel (7rooms + 1
dormitory, for a total of 28 beds): stripping and making beds, taking care of laundry
(washing and drying), cleaning all surfaces, cleaning the bathrooms (4 toilets and 4
showers), disposing of garbage, vacuuming and mopping all floors, including the staff kitch

Règles

It is important that the person taking care of the evening shift is fluent in English and enjoys communicating with guests, as she/he is the main face of the hostel. The job is not
difficult, but the capability of multitasking is essential:)
We can organise also just housekeeping and morning shifts
● Remarks:
Our hostel is rated 9.2 on Booking.com, and all of us are doing a great job to keep this
standard!
The shifts can be physically demanding (particularly housekeeping) as most of the jobs in
hospitality. Therefore, it is important to be in good physical shape.
