Si tu penses venir à Fès, n'hésite surtout pas. Avec la famille d'Omar, tu te sentiras chez toi dès le premier jour. the hostel et the hostel Naima sont des endroits pleins de charme, de rires et de beaux moments partagés. Je me suis sentie heureuse. Les autres travailleurs et volontaires m'ont aidée à chaque instant, toujours avec bienveillance. Fais attention… tu risques de ne plus vouloir partir ! Je recommande à 100 %. Merci 🫶🏼

J'ai passé deux semaines chez the hostel et j'ai du prolongé mon séjour parce que je n'arrivais pas à partir. C'était un plaisir d'aider Saida à préparer le petit déjeuner et à ranger les chambres. Les tâches étaient simples et j'ai eu beaucoup du temps pour profiter de la medina, où se trouve le the hostel. Je peux que remercier Omar et sa famille qui m'ont accueilli et m'ont fait sentir chez moi. J'ai eu une des plus belles expériences de ma vie à the hostel et j'espère revenir bientôt !

Omars family is very kind and welcoming! Staying with them during Ramadan was so great for the cultural experience of Morocco & Omar was a great host by picking me up from the airport and introducing me to locals.

Although the tasks I had to do were simple and very flexible, from the start there was poor communication and no clear introduction to the hostel, its rules, or responsibilities. Omar was always indifferent; he rarely spoke to me and never made me feel welcome or comfortable. He also made constant excuses and often never replied to messages. He even threatened to say I never showed up because I did not accept his requested date changes, despite already completing five full days of agreed tasks carefully and responsibly.

It's been a good experience. Very flexible in schedule, creativity and times. If You want to get to know Fez and the people, the hostel Mizzan it's a good place as they give so much freedom. The mun in the hotel will prepare you a nice breackfats full of love EVERY morning ❤️

We loved our time at the hostel! Ranane is an incredible person and treated us very well from our first day! the hostel is located in the heart of the medina, really a place that allows you to visit many tourist attractions in your spare time. The work routine was super easy, we helped with cleaning, preparing breakfast and maintaining the plants! I hope other volunteers enjoy this experience as much as we did!

Despite the inconvenience we had before arriving to volunteer, we managed to overcome the situation and had a good stay. Working hours are very light, basically focused on cleaning the terrace, preparing breakfast for guests and putting water on the plates. Maybe I was unlucky, as the host wasn't there for most of the time we stayed, so we didn't have a great cultural exchange, which was a shame, but I can't complain. The volunteer location is comfortable, working hours are respected and our stay was good.

Staying at Dar naima just felt like being home. Hanane and her family are so welcoming. Fez is a perfect city to get in touch with moroccan culture and traditions. Besides helping with the breakfast I sometimes made the check in/ check out of the guests (even on my free time) but sometimes we weren't notified of the arrivals on time and I didn't know which room give them, so we had to wait for Hanane to respond and it was a little uncomfortable for everyone. For the day off there was a lot of flexibility so we could visit another cities. I am so gratefull for everything, Will miss you all ❤️

The stay at the hostel was very nice, the main activity requested was serving breakfast with Amina and clean after, you have to know that she doesn't speak but arabic so comunication with her was a little tricky at first but then we managed to understand each other with signs and google translator. Sometimes Hanane asked us to help clean the shared room after check outs and other times to help after hours receiving guests. We had to change room sometimes because it was all booked, so the experience depends on the ocupation, there were also very quiet days that required less hours. I'll miss it ♡

We loved staying at Dar Naima for these 3 weeks, especially thanks to the company and learning from the employees Driss and Wafaa, they are very receptive, attentive and helped with everything, and also to the hosts Hanan and Zack for their love and understanding. The location is good, the terrace is beautiful with views of the entire Medina, the mountains and ruins, the breakfast is very good, there is time to walk around and enjoy the best of Fez. In terms of work, we practically help preparing tables, preparing breakfast for guests and then tidying up the rooms.
