Our organization runs a daycare for the low income families in the surrounding areas, which is free of charge to children under 5 years old.

Description: Volunteers’ fee goes to the host families’ house to cover the expenses of the stay like, three meals per day breakfast, lunch and dinner, and other daily utilities. A part of this fund is used in assisting organization’s projects like raising awareness for vulnerable children. It’s recommended this fee to be paid upfront at the start of the project as it fosters budget accuracy and reinforcing the commitment for volunteers.

We are seeking for a passionate volunteers to join our team as Social Media Marketing and Online Fundraising Specialists. This role is crucial in increasing our visibility and securing funds to support our educational programs.

Social Media Management: Develop and manage content for our social media platforms to engage our community and raise awareness.

Campaign Creation: Design and implement online fundraising campaigns to attract donors and generate financial support.

Content Creation: Produce compelling stories, images, and videos that highlight our mission and impact.

Analytics: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns to optimize our strategies and reach.

Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with supporters and potential donors through interactive online activities.

Activités et horaires

How's the day looks like for volunteers?

08:30 AM. - 09:00 AM. Breakfast at host family's house.
09:00 AM - Walk/ drive to the school.
09:15 AM - 02:00 PM. Engage in Class activities at the local nursery school.


02:15 PM - Lunch
02:15 PM. - 04:30 PM. No activities/ Resting time.
04:30 PM - 07:00 PM. Extra class for the underprivileged children from public schools. (Optional)

07:30 PM - 08:00 PM. Dinner.

Saturday & Sunday
Breakfast, outdoor activities, dinner, and nightlife.

Règles

Volunteers will be supervised by our local staff coordinators from our organization who will pick you up upon arrival, take you around, introduce you to the school and staff, and guide you during your stay.
It is important that volunteers at this project understand the following;

Tanzania is a peaceful country but is old-fashioned by Western standards. Be enthusiastic and independent and willing to accept that things can be challenging at times.
Show respect towards the people and culture of the local community. The people of Tanzania are some kind religious, so prepare yourself accordingly.
At all times, follow rules regarding clothing and appearance. Tanzania is the tropical country and therefore hot. It is not as strict as the Middle East, so you can dress coolly but modestly, with limbs, knees, and shoulders covered if possible.
