We are looking for a volunteers to help at the reception at our hostel in central Prague. Somebody willing to help and assist the main receptionist and helping with some housekeeping tasks, activities for the guests, to welcome travelers, social media and to help our team to make great and fun atmosphere at the hostel.

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Détails du programme

We offer free accommodation at the hostel (shared small 4-bed room-2x BUNK beds- which is only shared with other fellow volunteers) in exchange of volunteer work. We require 104h(16 shifts) in a 4 week period. Minimum stay 4 weeks. One shift is 6h 30min long(we have morning shifts 9:30-16:00, afternoon shifts 16:00-22:30, middle day shifts 10:00-16:30). Shifts are scheduled at the start of each month.
*We have maximum 4 volunteers at a time.
*Discounted drinks at the bar
*free pubcrawl (Drunken Monkey) for volunteers (when promoting)
*We don't provide meals, but we have spacious kitchen for use and super markets close by.
*Please note at the moment we do not have a laundry service at the hostel, but there are laundromats 3 min walk away and as a compensation of inconvenience we offer each volunteer 400 CZK in cash for a 1 month stay
*IMPORTANT: we can not provide documents for work visa in Czechia

Activités et horaires

Volunteer tasks include:
Assisting reception desk
Making activities for guests.(movie nights, drunken yoga, games, trivia, walk around city etc.)
Help with housekeeping tasks. (e.g. stripping used beds, dusting shelves, mopping floor, changing bins)
Help with preparing activities for the guests(movie nights, dinners, game nights)
Assisting bartender.
Making social media content.
Welcoming and socializing with the hostel guests.
Organizing stock rooms. (Sometimes includes heavy lifting!)
Moving full bins outside (Sometimes includes heavy lifting!)
Some simple maintenance tasks (e.g. changing a lightbulb)

Règles

Be on time when you are on the duty.
Be proactive and happy to help with customer service.
Don't be on your phone/book/laptop while it is work time.
You can always ask receptionist for some task, there are always some little things you can help us with. :)
